Non joke comment: though I enjoy watching on CZcams, it might help your Spotify and Apple Podcasts listeners if you posted links to images of those stock graphs in the podcast descriptions w/ timestamps so that people don't have to jump from their preferred platform to watch. Ben you're pretty good with describing the story of the stock, so just looking along with the audio would work well!

I genuinely love TMG studios and am super psyched that TM is THE outgrowth of the new venture, but I'm just as thankful that the producers are finally allowing discussion of politics. Emil is clearly economically left (which I'd argue is the only morally justifiable ethic to hold in this era), and I'm glad that he's calling out the wealthy class's talking points as what they usually are: explicitly right wing. Thanks for saying the quiet thing out loud in this sort of space. I know party politics are divisive and exhausting to say the least, but a spade is a spade regardless.
Listening to this podcast is really nice because it is just friends having an actual intellectual conversation and that’s hard to find nowadays. I look forward to both yours & tmg now every week. Also I enjoyed how after all your promotions it looked as if cody just reappeared in his chair like magic

Just wanted to say I genuienly enjoy listening to this podcast. I had 2 podcasts I listened to every time they came out, Nightvale and TMG, I usually just skip around episodes with a few others, but now I look forward to this one and listen every week as well! Also really happy you guys had Noel & Cody on as guests, loved hearing more about their investments.

I don't understand a lot about stocks, the economy, finances etc. I'm also low-key hesitant to ask questions or learn because a lot of finance people are irritating and just all around bad people. Ya feel me? You guys are funny, explain things so well and are conscious and thoughtful about ethics and morals. Where have you two been my whole life? 😭
Re: innovation, no idea is ever limited to one person, one company, or one country. If one company stops innovating because of some “cap”, another will take its place. It actually encourages a free market with healthy capitalism
I never understood the argument that it will stifle innovation. Companies still have to please investors, they have to fend off competition. Not being innovative or complacent kills companies.
I mean it won't kill innovation (pretty hard to do that) but I think it would definitely slow it down. I think the proposed solution in Switzerland of having a ratio is probably better then having an absolute cap.

How is Liquid Death actually a good company? I guess there is just a lot of hype around it atm. The production of aluminium has a huge environmental impact. Aluminium cans don‘t solve the problem of pollution by just recycling the cans. The idea of Liquid Death is just flawed and once the hype dies off and people see what it actually is, it will die off quickly.
