I do still enjoy their podcast; laughed hysterically at their episode with the Bahranian man and shook my head nonstop at Noel's first guesting, where Ben was willing to give a pair of airpods pro, on TM.

Cody you can donate your hair to matter of trust! They use hair mats to clean up oil spills because you can get the water 100% clean with it and then wash the matts and reuse them again and again. Its a very environmentally friendly way to clean up oil spills!
Why do you think that the water can be 100% cleaned from oil with human hair?
@@MA-zg2pz because hair can absorb up to 5 times it's weight in oil. One of Matter of trusts hair mats can absorb up to 1.5 gallons of oil. It's the most eco-friendly way to go about it. And they've done demonstrations where they get contaminated water completely clean.

Kudos to Noel for opening up a little about his eating/weight gain struggles. For most of my life I just thought I was "just one of those people" who just struggled to gain weight... but I also HATED eating... I was a super picky eater and until I was diagnosed with Anorexia in March, this year, I was COMPLETELY unaware of the sheer amount of rules and disordered beliefs/thoughts I had around food, eating, weight, etc...
Eating disorders can be VERY insidious and I actively denied the possibility of having one but in reality there was A LOT of deeper stuff that needed to be addressed and I'm gonna be one of those people who get serious in the comments just to say that after my diagnosis... I strongly encourage anyone who says "I don't have an eating disorder, but I hate eating" to at least just get an evaluation.

The little life sharing segment is great, not boring to me Ben ❤! This week I’ve also been struggling to have the will to eat bc I just don’t want any of the options available to me atm. I’ve been regularly doing cardio so I feel good physically tho. I also really related to Cody saying “I like life better like this” in regards to being sober bc I hate stomach aches and being sober for a few months has helped my IBS immensely.

I was sober curious too, and I tried it back in Feb. and life was just easier without hang overs. I decided to stick it out. Do not regret it one bit.
Good for you! That's really cool. Andrew Huberman (a professor of neurobiology) has a recent podcast explaining the details of how the negative effects of drinking alcohol FAR outweigh any potential positives to gut health (which is a big rationalization that a lot of people use to drink) if you have literally only like 1 or 2 drinks/week or something... it's crazy and very motivating to just stay sober
