L&R Precision Vintage Watch Cleaning Machine

This is a vintage L&R Vari-Matic Precision Cleaning Machine for cleaning watch parts. It was manufactured by L&R Manufacturing Company in Kearny, New Jersey, USA, I do not know the date of manufacture but my late Father owned it at least since the 1970's. It does all appear to work though I am not certain how it should work. The head goes up and down, the motor spins the basket, the turntable turns and it appears to have a timer that works? I know my Father overhauled it in May 2013 and it had very little use after that.
