Leighton Buzzard Ghost Town (1993)

A crappy little film we made one Sunday afternoon in 1993 showing what we thought a "ghost town" Leighton Buzzard and the Bossard Centre, (now Waterbourne Walk) had become at the time. Never shown it to anyone because it's not very good but interesting if you remember any of the empty shops maybe?

Used to come on the train from Watford to see my grandparents . I remember this shopping precinct well. My grandad was born in Leighton Buzzard 1912 and stayed there for 87 years !

Fucking hell. Crazy seeing how it used to look back then. I was only 14/15 then but I still remember it. Leighton buzzard used to be a pretty rough little place. Now it's full of fucking coffee shops and little cake shops and resturaunts and everyone thinks they're middle class and live in Chelsea. Changed so much

Well that's just the shopping bit of the high street there's Two closed down shops there the high street is still going strong least its not Dunstable
