    Sir this is the best video I've seen explaining how to do this. After watching multiple vids and doing it my self, I wish I would have seen yours first.

    Commenting for the algorithm but this is a great video simple and to the point and shows all good pictures of what to do and the socket sizes and everything. I never worked on a car at all before and made a super simple for a novice like me.

    Yo thanks! GREAT Vid helped out alot with my Jeep. Sadly, my problem with "limp mode" got even worse...probably because of the $50 part I got on line. Next time I'm getting a part from a reliable source.

    Quick and to the point and the most helpful part, the bolt sizes.

    Great video, very helpful! Keep in mind on certain jeeps they have a three way coolant hose that cannot be easily moved to get to the throttle body. They are still flexible enough to work around though.

    LOL, good job. So many youtubers take a 10 minute video and cram it into 40...

    Thanks for the video! I was wondering how the throttle body is holding up? I need to replace it but am concerned with ordering a non OEM

  • @manvicorgon
    @manvicorgon Před rokem

    yes after the part and gasket are changed you have to take the vehicle to a mechanic shop to have it programmed in chicago 11/24/2022 they charged me $90 but its better to pay for programming and not labor

    Hi! I have a 2010 Jeep Compass and I believe my throttle body is in need of replacing, it was replaced about 6 months ago, but the lightning bolt as well as the slip indicator like keeps coming on like it did before I got the throttle body replaced, making the jeep jerk and stall and shake. Would you recommend me following this video for a 2010?

      I had a similar problem with my compass, turns out I just needed to replace the intake plenum gasket

    Awsome, what are the reason to change this? I have same car and experiencing some hesitation upon acceleration and lag.
    Thanks

    A very good and accurate video and it even tells us to use the 13 mm wrench to remove the bracket. I am wondering what the specs are on the little red ratchet wrench that he is using, it seems very efficient. Thanks, Phil

      Thanks for watching! Yea, I did a review on the Aoben electric ratchet. It's definitely efficient and helps make the job quicker.

    Thanks for this video, really well done. Quest: is there a need to calibrate or "educate" the accelerator pedal to the new throttle body and if so, how? Thanks!

    • @CraftyWorkshopBuilds
      @CraftyWorkshopBuilds  Před 3 lety +4

      Nah, no need to calibrate. Plug and play.
