Few data scientists to begin with.

They probably have larger numbers of employees aged 20-40.
Therefore, as a percentage of each age group, the percentages of those laid could be quite different.

Hardly a proper data science analysis. Did you account for those who were hired during the boom before concluding there was a bias.

So 56% are females, so that means 44% are male.
Does it also say what % of it are people that have less time with the company ?

@@olisakizito7160 the best way to explain is there is less good rust , c++ , java developers in commpunity than java script , python developers and compare yourself who will have good demand and paid more between those ? may be i don't know how to explain but what i wanna say is there is more than demand value will be less !! anyway its just my opinion and thoughts. i might be wrong also !!

@@kapilpoudel8452 My point is, you can not make such assertion based on "Opinion". So if such statement is to be made without facts, then you should be an expert in the field you are asserting. Anyways, it is true that there is high supply, but what is the quality of that supply? Also, the demand is still very much there because I can assure you that there are many organizations in and outside developed countries that are yet to start mining their data to drive their business....the field is open and even experts refrain from making the assertions you made in the world of data. You can't use few companies layoffs and for a particular geographical area to make those conclusions. Hope you get my point.

until technology is there , there will be data , AI will be able to make software but handling and doing analysis for data companies going to hire people over AI.

The problem is ... the quiet quitters population is exploding across the U.S. and Corporate America's solution is massive layoffs - which shouldn't surprise anyone at all. These quiet quitters should be thankful for getting a free paycheck for more than a decade!
