I’m an XGen... yeah, it is. It just kinda happens to most of us. By the time you’ve hit your 50s, you’ve seen a lot, usually have suffered some real losses, & it sobers you. Doesn’t mean some of that youthful wildness isn’t still inside us, it’s just tempered most the time. It’s one of the reasons I love this show... they make me laugh & remind me of how I felt when I was their age. It’s important to remember & feel that. And I think it keeps your mind young and more open. 😉🤙

@Vincent H. nah it's cause when showtime offered the contract to the guys, viceland decided to cut off their show two months earlier than it was supposed to end and viceland then played themselves doing that with a drop of viewership and then released a new format with Zack Fox that was rushed and ended up getting cancelled. But spike is vice's creative director and he's still cool with them

I think part of it is we're used to seeing images of the young Beastie Boys. But damn, Spike does look good.

He's the creative director so I think he just advises on the visual aspects of all of the Viceland shows or greenlighting ideas. Their beef probably has more to do with the execs for underpaying and overworking them.
