In this video we have compared Cost of Living in Darwin and Cost of Living in Melbourne to give some perspective. Devarshi Desai who is the host on this channel explains what is Melbourne like and Fawad Jawaid compares it with Darwin. It is a lot cheaper to live in Darwin because the population of Darwin is nearly 160,000 whereas the population of Melbourne over 5 Million.

Finding crocodile is not a total myth, you can find them crawling in the street, or nearby the water park, it’s completely possible especially during wet season. Watch out guys😜

I was wondering if you knew how I can find information about some universities I'm interested in, in regard to their quality, organization, administration etc. Is there any website I can visit to help me with that? I remember you had created a website like that at some point but I can no longer seem to find it. Thank you!

C mon guys. this is a lie, I was living in Sydney before Darwin for almost 3 years, accomodation here its not 160 in CDB, you would pay just 160 if you share a room and the house with at least 3 or more people. Renting is slightly cheaper than big cities. Super market and entertainment is the same, public transport work very bad, no buses after 9pm, you need a car, scooter or motorbike, its incredible hot, and not many options of things to do comparing to the main cities. Despite of all that, I LOVE DARWIN, I would live here forever for sure. But if you are coming, stay prepared, the coast of living is almost the same comparing to big cities, don't fool yourself. Good lucky.

    Hey guys.
Just came across this video. I just want to correct a few things I think is wrong.
    1. Rent in Darwin is a bit expensive. The rent in CBD starts from $160 to sometimes $250. If you are okay with suburbs and live a bit far from CDB the rent would be around $140 to $170. I share a room with a friend and it's $120 a week per person.
    2. It is really hot here in Darwin and it does not rain a lot these days. I have been in darwin for over a year and it didn't rain as much as I was told. And even if it rains it's just not enough.
But I love Darwin despite the heat. It's the best place for a stress-free life.
