@@tomoxt Afraid not. While we do get those bits of dialogue, NPCs don't react to it at all. You get a canned generic line every time. It's a bit disappointing.

It really did. I remember the moment I fell in love with Wilhelm, it was in the Claptrap DLC when he got disappointed that no train came. He was just so hopeful too see one and got so disappointed when it never came.

I genuinely love this game. I wish it would have had more DLC campaigns. At least Gearbox added cryo weapons in Borderlands 3. My favorite elemental type. All we need in Borderlands 3 or the next game is laser weapons back!

I played the game again and started from the beginning playing as Wilhelm and not fucking Claptrap like my first playthrough and holy shit...Its awesome

I believe that this game is underrated.
I know The Pre Sequel is not as good as 2 but I do think it has some neat features. I like the skills, the guns, lasers, cryo, the low gravity, the double jump, the slam, the interactions and the grinder. Just wish it had more enemy variety, much better writing and better pacing. There are many times where you spend like 4 hours in low gravity or normal and with no atmosphere.
Man, this trailer made it sounds way more fun than when I played it. Then again I went solo with claptrap

Well borderlands 3 will take place most likely after the events of BL2 and tales from the borderlands is would make sense that they are tracking down all the vault hunters they can get and finding new ones so I could see hammerlock and tourge getting promoted to being a vault hunters as well as a new siren and generic soldier with a turret. This also bring a big question to mind: technically Rhys and Fiona from tales from the borderlands are vault hunters as they did find a vault, killed the guardian, and went into the vault but they also did get like teleported or something at the end we don't really know but perhaps all the vault hunters are going to a new planet as some scrounding around in some game code would suggest thats whats happening so maybe they were teleported there and it's some kinda of eridian home world just a theory but seems like a solid statement

I liked learning the "backstory" of all these vault hunters (minus claptrap) but I want to be able to make my own story and hunt vaults with my own character, im sure I'm not the only borderlands fan that thinks being able to make your own vault hunter would be badass
Crazy Cray wouldn't work out, you'd have to do away with the skill trees if it was that way
Osmosis Jones not really, make a girl with Kriegs new skill tree or a guy with wilhelms.
Basically make a fully customizable character with 3 or so voice actors like saints row and choose a "class" such as mechomancer or gunslinger or something like that.

It actually was a thing that got a tear out of me in the ending. So much disrespect to the venerable claptrap unit during BL2 while he had such a past. Fuck Jack. Fragtrap potentially could've been a very cool boss.
