Some of Yall are judging everyone in his top 5 solely on lyrics and rapping ability. If anything his list explains why heâs the best modern rapper - because heâs a student of the entire game.
He understands and has been deeply influenced by those who have mastered each aspect of the genre. Heâs able to take each element and incorporate it into his music.
If Kendrick was just an incredible lyricist and rapper - he would still be amazing. But heâs incredible at everything which makes him the GOAT.
Is Nas better than Snoop? Of course. But everyone on his list when viewed together as a whole - are absolutely incredible influences.
