My favorite part of the museum!! I love rocks, minerals, and gems.
I love sparklys so, so much!! I have a couple of ultra cheap heart/star plaques that are highlighted in glitter and when the light hits them my 73 year old heart is 6years old again. That Geode!!!💜💜💜💜
First time I ever heard Jane Pauley, say the word” bling”, on the air. 💎💍
That he measures the success by the number of nose marks on the glass is WONDERFUL!
Despite it's age and poor lighting the old exhibit was still among my favorite places in the museum. This must be very nice
My chakras are aligned after watching this.
So very beautiful! They also have some of the most fragile minerals on the planet at that museum.
One of my very favorite places since childhood
🤣 I just lost it when he said 'bling bling'
Magnificent!!! A truly Wow segment!😀
Absolutely understand the nose and slabber marks! When visiting one of the Smithsonian Museums many years ago, I was able to view some of the most glorious gems. My husband & I were astonished to see so many gorgeous specimens of beauty. Now, I would definitely want to visit the museum in NY! The Amethyst gourd or spectacular.
This was always my favorite part of the museum as a small child. I didn’t care about the dinos I needed to see all the sparkly minerals!
You should come to Tucson in the first few weeks of February, then! The largest collection of gem shows in the world…from the highest high end museum quality gems to simple uncut gems and fossils. It blows my mind every year, and I’m a professional jeweler with 35+ years experience.
Book tickets/hotels at least 6. Months in advance …it’s extremely popular
As a small child yes a a red headed 20 something year old no
Amethyst is my favorite!
I love rocks and minerals. As a kid my science project almost always revolved around rocks. As a 71 year old grandma, I have a box of rocks that I have kept through moves from NC to Texas to Oregon. I got them while visiting a defunct Colorado gold mine. Now I pick up gems when visiting the Oregon beach.
how amazing, those huge things look like the universe...wow
02:45 Fascination with star gems has been a part of my life for a long time. When I was in my late teenage years I got a lot of criticism for buying gold ingots instead of makeup & clothes. Gold retains its value, its value only goes up. It's not a perfect investment, I realize. It works well for me.
I, also love star jewelry. My ruby, blue & citrine star jewelry are worth so much more than they were when I first bought them.
@Benjamin Hama Doing fine living a scammer free life
I've always thought it hilarious that the most valuable things to people are small natural objects that are a bit difficult to find, to me the most valuable thing is making children smile.
I love this 🌺
4:06 Lady, everything is millions of years old, everything is Big Bang years old, jesus
bout time they finished that. went for a school trip with my son at least 5 years ago and it was a disaster. lighting was horrible the stone cluttered. the whole grade was disappointed
So Pretty 🥰💗
I will now appreciate nose prints and slobber marks in a new way! 🤣🤣🤣
2:27 Jack Murphy's friend was foxy
Me, when the reporter is incredulous at the age of table salt: 🙄
🥰
3:18 she just said yes because she didn't know what he meant hahaha🤣...just kidding.

Salt is a drug. Legalize salt.
Diamonds are the biggest scam ever.
Shame about the kids in masks.
Yawn. This is one of the worst pieces ever on CBS GM
