In today's VLOG we explore one of the most iconic spring landscapes in the world, the Dutch tulip fields. Did you know it's possible to bike from Amsterdam to Hillegom and Lisse? Well.. that is if you are prepared to bike for almost two hours (and half of it on the highway). We found a better and more enjoyable way by biking from Haarlem! Haarlem is a dutch city located not too far from Amsterdam.
The tulip fields are located near the Keukenhof, the biggest tulip theme park in the world. Because of the current circumstances, the Keukenhof is closed for visitors but we can still enjoy the open air fields of Lisse and Hillegom!
In this video I also give you travel tips on how to rent a bike from the Dutch public transport company, I show you what a part of the dutch country side is like, I also give you tips on how and when to visit the tulip fields. In the period around the end of the summer you can visit several places they call 'heide' in the areas of 'het gooi' and 'posbank' and you can see acres and acres of purple blossoming plants, especially the posbank is nice, as it is a very slight bit hilly and you can see the purple colored hills towards the horizon when you are in the right spot.

there is an movie called: "kenau" it`s about the history of Haarlem in the spanish inquisition.\
Lol ohhhh francis in April like a month was blooming like crazy! And also very sunny! Dunno if u also checked b4 that keukenhof was open for 3 days!
I heard about it but it was too late to visit it and tickets were sold out. Maybe next time.. 😅

Red light district at night...i think those not able to go there would be interested to see the girls in the Windows!! No other city does that. I was amazed when there how quick the girls turned their business around lol
