Your Mom looks so much like your grandma.
literally the spitting image; even though that's a strange terminology
I said the same
@@anitaw3255 I thought the same!
I could see Stephanie there too so easily .
Moi aussi!! đ
Stephanie I think your grandmother would be so happy with how your life has unfolded and that you have so many blessings. A grandparents biggest reward is to see our grandkids blossoming. I didn't have the luxury of a loving, happy family such as yours so I can only imagine your feelings. Hold on tight to those wonderful memories of yours.
Same here, unfortunately đą however Im grateful to count my blessings in other areas. Would have loved to see Stephanieâs father and grandmother in the vlogs, they seem to have been quite the characters in the best way đ
Stephanie itâs trauma losing a dear lady like your grandma. Dear Mama looks so much like your grandma. Both beautiful strong ladies.
Dear Stephanie, so nice to have seen your uncle and tatinette.
Enjoy your stay at Grandmaman house, it will be good for the soul.â€
Such a relief to see you know these people as Stephanie's Uncle( Ton Ton Steven)and Aunt Tattinette. So many are thinking Tattinette is the grandmother, who is in fact deceased!!!
my grandmother died 30 yrs ago this past april. to this day whenever im im driving past her house i get a frog in my throat. i have found that leaning in to the memories is much more therapeutic than trying to deny them. xoxoxo
Bless!
I could watch hours of a tour of that little town! How sweet you got to spend so much time with your grandma.
Wow, your Mommy looks just like your Grandmother. What a beautiful homeâ€
I agree. I thought at first it was Isabelle đ
@@rubyklumpenhower9491 Yes so did I.
what a magical childhood you had, to spend your summer and christmas in this lovely south of
France town surrounded by beauty
And a loving family!
The German painted box says, "Contentment be my peace, I think a lot and be silent about it"
So lovely you also deciphered the text: Zufriedenheit sei meine Ruh, ich denke viel und schweig dazu! My grandma was an artist and painted the same kind of boxes, I have one she did for me that says: Von aussen bin ich fröhlich bunt, doch still verschwiegen auf dem Grund, Gefall ich Dir so bin ich Dein , leg was Du liebst in mich hinein! in English: My outside is joyous and colourful but but I'm descreet and silent on the inside. If you like me I'm yours put what you love inside me. So funny that the two texts are so similar. I think they were often used for love letters. I keep the letters of my mom inside.
I feel the same about my grandmother...though in my case the house is gone and i didn't visit that place since forever.....i burst in tears just by looking at photos...of old time when i was a kid,a teen, a young woman....still smelling her house, her kitchen, her bedroom...her hair. I cried with u Stephanie, wonderful people have left wonderful memories for us, miss her too.
Smells can definitely trigger memories ...when I smell lilac water I immediately think of my grandmother ...and when I smell Jergens lotion it overwhelms me with memories of my mother ...ivory soap recalls kindergarten where ivory soap was used for washing up.
what a magical childhood you had, to spend your summer and christmas in this lovely south of
France town surrounded by beauty!
How I would love to visit a Brocante like that. So lovely to see your Aunt & Uncle again. Stephanie your Grandmother will be pleased that you are back, do not be sad, remember all the happy times.
Your Mum is the spit of your Grandmother.
Yes lovely to see Aunt & Uncle they are love personified, with them as role models Stephanie & Philip and Nattie & Amari have relationship success written in history! Love It!
Good to see your lovely aunt and uncle, Iâve missed seeing them as well as your Mum and Percy too!!!
Have a lovely visit đ„°đ ââïžđ ââïžđ ââïžđ ââïž
Iâm sure it was unsettling to walk into your grandmotherâs house. Iâm glad theyâve kept the house in your family you have the opportunity to go back. Iâm sure the happy memories were flooding back. I absolutely love your aunt and uncle! They are the cutest couple and are always happy and upbeat! I always watch your videos at night when Iâm winding down and they bring me such happiness! Thanks for a sneak peek into your life! đ
Your grandmother's place is beautiful. Love the brocante
You have your grand motherâs eyes and elegance Stephanie. Thank you for sharing these tender memories and the beautiful picture of her â€
What an amazing brocante and village! Your grandmothers house is adorable! Thank you for sharing!
Omg your Grandmother and your Mother look soooo alike!!
Stephanie's grandmother was such a beautiful classy lady.
So sorry you had such an emotional homecoming Stephanie but I am glad that you had 3 people that love you so much there with you to support you in that emotional moment.đ
Your grandmother was such a pretty woman. Sheâs still watching over you. â€
You two have brought so much beauty to our lives. Thank you both.
YES! WELL SAID!
Isnât Pezenas just lovely!! And that brocante market is always mind blowing. đ
I have been thinking for the last episodes how much I've missed seeing your lovely Aunt and Uncle. It was extra special to hear about your summers with your grandmother in this beautiful southern area of France.
Your grandmother looks formidabile !! What a character she must have been. đŒđŒ
What a wonderful town! So much to see and to do!
Amazing brocante! Lovely to see your grandmotherâs house. It is so charming. Wonderful to see your aunt and uncle. â€
Can't wait to see where they settled. I'm glad Chantal is "going back home."
Wow, your mum is the spitting image of your grandma
Stephanie's grandmother was NOT in the video. The woman is her Aunt, affectionately called Tattinette. She is Isabel's sister. Isabel is Stephanie's mother. Tattinette and Ton-Ton Steven are Amaury's parents, which in turn makes Amaury and Stephanie cousins. The grandmother's house is where Tattinette and Isabel grew up.
I stand corrected. I had to rewatch the video over and over. Finally, saw the picture of her grandmother. It went by too quickly. Yes. Isabel looks like her mother!! I apologize
â@@stephaniedavis8064A photo of Steph's gran was shown, I assume that is what is being referred to. She does look exactly like Isabelle.
LOL. The photo-bomber at 14:00. đ
The garden at your grandmother's house is beautiful, thank you for sharing some memories and for the tour of brocante.
đ ohhh.. my Stephanie your grandmother looks just like your mother wow beautiful đâ€
Stephanie, your Mum is the image of your Grandmother. Very Beautiful vlog. Your Aunt and Uncle look very well. Enjoy your trip.â€â€
First of all your Grandmother was stunning. And...I love your Aunt and Uncle...and you should have bought the black coat.
Those screens were so uniquely delightful. I wish she had bought them! I couldn't decide if they were painted by Europeans to evoke images of traditional Chinese figures ...or painted by Chinese to evoke Europeans figures ...I think the former maybe, as the instruments seemed Chinese.
So amazing city and brocante. Wonderfull.
My grandmothers were precious to me, also. Wonderful and quaint town. Blessings.
The brocante was wonderful. Lots and lots of treasures. Too bad you couldnât take the âcoffee tableâ (backless chaise) back with you. I would have loved seeing what fabric you chose and how you would have styled it. Love seeing your aunt and uncle again. I canât wait to see what their house looks like! And Lancelot making friends wherever he goesâŠsooo cute!!! đ„°đ¶ The dinner looked delicious especially the desserts!!! đđ„°đđ¶đ·đ
My grandmother lived near ChambĂ©ry. I spent a few summers with her and I oddly played with her magazines in a similar way. Brought me to tearsâŠphew⊠In America we have âflea marketsâ which sell have beanie babies, longaberger baskets , childrenâs bicycles , and Aunt Estherâs horrible china purchased at the grocery decades prior. Oh, you are lucky ducks.
Yes! I said almost the same ... Made in China crap all over... nothing like there. They do not import nor create and consume near the volumes as us. I'd take those street brocantes anyday over our thrift stores and flea markets filled with trash!
'Flea markets' in Massachusettes had incredible antiques at them ...I've been to some incredible ones in LA, although they were more like auctions ...just have to know where to go.
WOW!! I would be in heaven at that brocant
I am so impressed your family still has your grandmotherâs house!
What a beautiful city!!! You have, and still do, lived an amazingly wonderful life!!!!
Spent a month in BĂšziers, August 1978. Memorable, Sete, Cap D'Age....â€

Your Tante and L'oncle are so charming and delightful! Love the tour.
Thank you for such an amazing vlog, full of fun, beauty, and heartfelt felt memories. You and your mother share a beautiful resemblance to your grandmother. I agree with others comments, losing a love one leaves a deep void in your heart. Thanks again for sharing this with us. Love and hugs to you.
Loved the 4 screens and your lamps.
I love your Grandmotherâs house!
So fun Stephanie!đ
Thank you for the lovely brocant trip! đ„°
