EDF 5 DLC 2-8 Engage Aggressors 5 AR Inferno Weapons Farming Nix Assault ( Earth Defense Force )

Silver spider heaven... 😋 Good mission for inferno DLC 2 weapons farming in EDF 5. I still think mission 11 of the DLC is more productive and overall easier.
I have another video done with a Blacker as a vehicle. The Nix Assault has steep points requirements, it will be hard to be successful here without a fully upgraded one which will lower this requirement. You can even do the mission with just called Nix's but you need to be careful. Do realize that the 4 supplied ones have 2x the armor, more than 170k.
The mission is done in a way to optimize crates pickup. The best way is hopping between the start position and the bigger beach. Although the AR has a rough start as he needs to get a vehicle to escape, he'll have an easier life later as the ZEXR and the Guard Gun will make his life a lot rosier, and the Phobos will help too, although it will scatter some spiders to bad spots. The mission has 165 silver spiders. Most will drop 2 crates, a few 3, so around 330 to 350 crates. Since the map can only have 128 crates at a time, you really need to get collecting to optimize this. Be really careful when the last wave of 60 at the same time is near you, the initial webs are such an overwhelming number that even the Nix Assault can be fried in a snap, even with the guard gun.
Overall if you can do it, this is much better and easier than with the tank.
