An Amazing Tribute to the Supersonic Airliner Concorde

- This is a video I made using a variety of different recordings of the Concorde which I DO NOT own. All credits for the videos used go to the original owners.
Concorde was an amazing aircraft developed by the British and French during a time of a technilogical race between the worlds powers. It is to this day the fastest commercial passenger plane to ever fly. It featured state of the art technology far ahead of anything else at the time of development. Unfortunately, after 27 amazing years, Concorde touched down a final time at London Heathrow airport, signifying the end of supersonic travel, but we can still have hopes for a future supersonic airliner. To this day, Concorde is my favourite aircraft

The reason that it still looks modern today is mainly because there has never been a Concorde 2 as such so nothing to make it look old if that makes sense

I took the Concorde on a number of occasions across the pond in the 90's - such memories never to be bettered in aviation in my lifetime. As you rocketed out of LHR or JFK you knew there were hoards of people watching in wonderment at this amazing & beautiful bird.
Beautiful airplane, made me sad, when it took it's last flight. 🙂☹
Good video fabulous airplane looks so elegant with a thunderous roar never forget it, Britain and France should be so proud of it ,hope they get together again and build something of this caliber one day

I remember when it landed in Nashville, TN and, the pilots were talking to air traffic control and, they did a flyover before landing and, the pilot told them let us fly it you just tell us we're to land it and, it was a site to see with what looked like a beak on a bird soaring through the air a magnificent aircraft no doubt remember it like it was yesterday

And then, there's the stuff dreams are made of, Concorde was the later.
Great video. What a magnificent bird and incredible feat of engineering. Commercial aviation is just no longer the same without Concorde.
A truly amazing bird and one of the finest achievements in laws of physics and engineering marvel ever created in aviation history and on earth. Absolutely cannot comprehend why they wanted to draw a curtain to it. A remarkable feat that no other airlines can replace it. They were making money although not enormous. And the same can be said about pollution. Certain industry on earth producing far greater amount compared to it. Imagine you are 60K feet above earth without a space suit and enjoying your fine glass of champagne. Priceless and absolutely a pity.

I'm not sure the Concorde is a the same level at Apollo 13 but hey the music works for it.
@Tricia Jones actually although can't find the source, people from NASA even admitted getting to the moon was easier than getting Concorde to actually work as an airliner.
