Nice shave! Hope you and the family are well! At this point being in Texas I would rather have snow than the severe weather we're getting. The last 3 Mondays have been rough for the whole state. Tornados everywhere, hail, and just bad weather all around.

It's definitely worth trying Matt. Either the GC or the Lupo. I slightly prefer the Lupo, but the GC is still great:)

You are so right about not getting rid of a razor just because the first experience wasn’t perfect. That actually goes for soaps as well. I can’t tell you how many times I did not like the scent of a soap initially, but it grew on me and I ended up really loving it. Keep the faith Chris!

Nice shave Chris! The RazoRock Game Changer is just that, a quality stainless steel razor at a reasonable price and it did change the game. I haven't used Lather Bros, but those scent notes sound right up my alley for sure. There's a lot of great people in the community and they're always looking out for others and lifting them up. It's a great thing to see that people really care for others and will go out of their way to help and I hope that that has a ripple effect into society in general. It would be hard to not get emotional with all that has gone on and perfectly understandable. Have a great one!

I was looking at Lather Bros a couple weeks ago. I like supporting Florida artisans so I’ll probably be buying something from them soon. I’ll give a shout out to Heritage Hill as another Florida artisan. That’s great advice to hold on to razors that don’t work as a beginner. I’ve had several razors where that was the case and I’m glad I had kept them. I haven’t been leaving as many comments. It’s not because I’m not watching I just know you have enough people to reply to and sometimes I don’t have anything interesting to add. I hope everyone is well in your world. Have a great day!

Great shave. It's ok to let your emotions out. You are dealing with a lot and are handling it very well. I have switched out blades and a few times just switched to the Thorn to finish a shave that wasn't feeling good, the Thorn is always on Standby as it's just one of my favorites to use. Nice setup and shave Chris. If folks like the solid bar Gamechanger I encourage them to consider the 2 OC gaps. Smooth with a bit better blade clamping. Both are great. Have a good one!

I love all my razorock stuff including the Lupo razor I have in golden aluminum, so so nice. Glad you got a great shave and nice to hear about lather bros, I don’t think I’ve ever heard them mentioned before myself but always see the cool labels online shopping around.
I hit HC&C alpine forest soap on my Ramon Cajon brush who has an Etsy store and I’d highly recommend him, real good dude! Gonna follow with razorock Gold splash!

Today's shave: Era lvl 5 OC, unscented HC&C with Ibiza Nights scent oil, and Stirling Executive Man splash.
The Ibiza Nights is a really good scent, but a little light. Smells like a different sort of take on Aventus, but after 4 drops I still found it light.
Of the new scents I bought I'm surprised to find I like bad**s the best and James Bond the least, with Ibiza Nights in the middle.
Also the copper bowl my friend sent me is starting to patina, getting that cool "weathered" look.

We were 90 degrees yesterday in the Houston area so our spring is summer for others. I enjoy my Game Changer 0.68 but would love to trade it for the 0.84. Do you remember the name of the man who thinks his 0.84 is too much. We haven't heard anything lately about your mother. This must be a positive thing.
Hey Patrick. I wish I could remember his name, hopefully she will comment. Mom is making progress. We've gotten the platelets high enough to treat the blood clot, so I'm grateful for that. It's slow going but we doing well I think.

Haha I might have to get that South Florida scent now that I live there. I have most of the game changer options except for the .84 jaws and regular OC plates. I have to agree with them being smooth. Also recently got a Mamba 70 to compare. The only razor that seems to give me a hard time is the Rex Ambassador, it just feels rough to me and I notice a dragging sensation. Do you have any suggestions using the Rex? I keep putting it aside, I mainly stay below #2 setting.
Thank you sir. The first ambassador I had was problematic and had drag. It was sent back and fixed. You may want to check yours and make sure everything is lined up right and there is no issue with it. That said, the ambassador is not the smoothest of razors. It's a little on the aggressive side:)
@@IAMCDB I will consider sending to razor emporium to get serviced. It's an O series that I bought pre-owned from someone on eBay for a good price, they didn't like how it shaved. The adjustment knob goes from 1 to 6.5 , not sure but may be off calibrated. Physically I don't see anything wrong with how the blade sits. I understand it has a good amount of blade exposure. As of now I enjoy my shaves better with any of the Razorock razors.

That's hard to say sir. I can say it's a good medium efficient razor.
