  • Curovate is an app for at-home physical therapy exercises following a knee replacement, ACL surgery, ACL injury, or hip replacement. Curovate also provides educational content to help people recover after injury or surgery to answer their questions.
Are you thinking about getting a knee replacement, but don’t know the signs or if you should get one? Knee replacements have been traditionally offered to older people with intolerable knee pain, the loss of highly valued activities, and severe end-stage knee osteoarthritis. However, this criterion has changed over time and there are some other very important considerations that should be taken into account. This video discusses these factors so you can make an informed decision regarding knee replacement surgery.
You can find more information about what to consider when deciding if a knee replacement is right for you on our Curovate app or through our blog: curovate.com/blog/how-do-i-kn...

    Mam, one more question...
Can we do MRi after 6 months of acl surgery, to check whether my acl is fine or not?

Unless there is actually instability or issues with the knee most time an MRI is not recommended after ACL surgery. Only if there are actual issue with the knee is an MRI necessary. Otherwise it is a waste of time and money.

It's been almost 5 months of my acl surgery, and still while in the morning when I try to get up, I feel my knee is swelling and more than that I feel it's lock... Any suggestion??

Well you definitely don't need a knee replacement! 5 months after surgery swelling and locking is quite uncommon. Did you and are you still doing all of your rehab exercises for your ACL recovery? I would suggest consistent daily exercises focused on ACL recovery even 5 months after surgery. This can help with swelling, pain and knee stability.
