- What's up, gamers! I hope everyone is doing well. Join me today as I unbox and give you my thoughts on a set of Guns4IR that I purchased from RPEG Electronics. I love the way these guns feel in the hands. They are straightforward to set up. And once you've calibrated them, it's game on! I forgot to mention in my review that these guns also work with PC shooters. These are high quality and are the real deal. I jumped on the Gun4IR train very early. There is no comparison between what Ray mods to any other guns on the market. I have 4 of his mods and 2 sindens I bought for use on another system. Comparing them side-by-side there isn't a comparison. The only drawback is the price. You'll pay about twice what you'd pay for a set of sindens but the price is worth it. Both are a huge improvement over Aimtrak but Gun4IR is just better IMHO! Thanks DT for the video!
I wish I have jumped on the train with you. I feel I'm behind. But better late than never. I'll be a returning customer for sure. He has some other guns I'd love to get my hands on. Drawbacks being the price....yeah, that's a fact. It can be an expensive hobby real quick.🤣 But like you said, these light guns are a huge improvement over aimtraks. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
I hate Sindens because of the border on the screen.... how many arcade lightgun games have you seen in the arcade with a big ole border around the screen?? I much rather build and use the light sensors and get the true arcade feel
@@neccros007 having borders with Sindens seem so uggghhhh because you would NEVER see those borders in the arcade. But nothing is wrong with building your own.
Well done as always, broham. I was gonna mod my Sindens but apparently that's a no-go with gun4ir. So, I sold 'em lol. Maybe I'll hit up the Aimtraks one day.

I had the pleasure of playing Street Fighter 6 this weekend and I must say, it's a DAY ONE purchase for me. I've been thinking about doing a review on it. It's just that good. Have a great Christmas week as well.
@@dthomasfromnc all we have to do is wait until the final release and once again the the BETA versions continue to release as we explore returning characters and new characters. Dee Jay looks so groovy and Manon the French Grappler kinda based on Lady Gaga and Abel from SF4. Also, Tekken 8 is on the way.
What you don't see is that the version he has doesnt push back when recoil. The Time Crises gun pushes back when recoil which they are sold out.
Get one of the adjustable power supplies which will allow you to adjust the intensity.. I have mine set at 10v and it is a lot less annoying.

There's nothing wrong with building your own. I don't knick that at all. But Jaybee does have something special on his hands

Nice😃I wonder witch one to get the “Sigden”lightguns or the 4IAR guns.Price diffrence But I hear good things about both of them..(Sigden works even with Wii lightgun games what I heared on CZcams)
I can't speak on Sindens but like you, I've heard great things about them. I can say that Gun4IR are amazing. Both Sinden & G4IR seem to out class anything Aimtrak wise though.
i'm going to build my own gun4ir, but i don't think the recoil will be that loud, but it will mechanically cock back when it does recoil on the gun i'm building so there is that

Nice vid. Going to try to do a DIY build of a pair of guns myself. Just curious in what you are using for TC5 pedals i.e. for left and right cover, or are you just using the L/R buttons on the gun?
Thanks! No pedals, but you can have it set up to move left & right with the buttons or d-pad on the gun itself.
I might actually get these for myself! I still own my GunCon 1 and copies of Time Crisis 1 and 2 and a CRT to play them but this seems ot be a nice alternative if I don't want to set up my CRT to play a few quick games of Time Crisis, I wonder, can you actually play Time Crisis 2 on a PS2 emulator and use two guns and seperate screens to emulate the original arcade 2 Player Experience?
I haven't tried to play TC2 on PS2. But I just recently got my hands onnsome goodies that may just allow me to play TC2 on PS2 with two guns. Keep it locked to my channel because I plan on posting about it soon.

D, great vid. I'm still utilizing the Aimtraks. Do you see a big difference as far as accuracy between the two?
Thanks Jeff! The accuracy on these guns feel so much more responsive than my aimtraks on my Megacade. I wish I would've taken the plunge on these a long time ago. Definitely a difference between the two. These are the real deal.
i had aimtraks and you had to not move an inch to keep them accurate. With the 4 points you can move around loads and they stay accurate. Its also much easier to hook up mamehooker to gun4ir guns if you're using recoil compared to aimtraks (which I think require you to add more hardware into the gun)

I've been obssessed with the idea of getting an arcade from extreme home arcades. I've been watching some of your videos to get gather research and I appreciate you posting this stuff. My question is, don't you already have guns and all these games with your megacade?
Thanks for watching my videos. Yes, I have Aimtrak guns with Megacade along with a lot of games to play. I enjoy showcasing the Shar-Kade because it's smaller, less expensive, portable, better hardware and a superior software out the box. It gives other potential customers options.

In your opinion, is the only thing that extreme home arcades offers better than other machines is the ability to customize?
@@24danrock you can customize your machine with any company you choose to purchase from. You should be able to anyways at a bare minimum.
Gun4ir works on the EHA megacades as well.

Thanks! Yes, they're plug and play. You just have to calibrate them once and you're good to go. Wiimotes are cool. But these are so much better.

How would you rate it compared to the wii remotes that come with the Shar-Kade? It is a must have vs the wii remotes? I purchased a Shar-Kade and I am just waiting on it. Love the channel and Thanks for the info!
Gun4IR is better than the wii kit buddy, just better all round, if you want the setup sorted ready for your build I can sort that for you before the unit goes off, might just need that first initial setup when you get your unit
and @raymonddai is your guy to get your kit from , he helpped hugely with the setup for the gun4ir setup on the shar-kade setup
The Wii motes definitely gets the job done. They are amazing for what they can do with all of the gun games on the Sharkade. Then again, with the Gun4IR, they are so amazing as well. They feel more accurate than the wii motes and feel better in the hands. It's great having both Wii motes and Gun4IR.
do you have to do any button setup or its a plug and play??? i got the sinden light gun and it drives me nuts having to setup on every game emu console.
One time setup (callibration) and that's it. You're good for life.
can you show the rumble/feedback? does is had a slider?
When you play does both the Recoil and Rumble are activated at the same time?
Yes! But if you unplug the recoil, it will still rumble.
Hey D, is there anything similar and you recommended in U.S? I really love those shooting games, but not seen other build in U.S. Would you recommend after few months using it?
I'm not too familiar with companies in the US that manufacture light guns. Not to say that they don't exist, I just don't know of any. And yes, I'd recommend these guns after a few months of useage.😁

@@kanelgx ahhh okay 🤣🤦🏽♂️ The system itself (Sharkade Ultimate Deluxe Control Panel) is amazing. I'm still coming across games I've never heard of before. Enjoying myself to the max with this machine. I was always curious about these units, so I took the plunge. I'm so glad I finally got one. They're amazing. Although Sharkades are not US based, they do ship to the USA. I've seen other companies that offer Pi & Pandpra builds. But I don't think any of them amount to what Sharkade is offering with the hardware & software.

I worked with the owner Sharky and he was able to set them up so they worked perfectly.
Do these work with duckstation or epsxe and for 2 players? Planning to buy 2 but they're kinda pricey so it be good to know if they're compatible first.
I'm not sure if they work with duckstation. I think they work with epsxe. And I agree, they are pricey...but they're definitely worth it.

Yes, I have my guns plugged in. Using a steering wheel sounds fun. I'd have to give it a try.

How much for the box you got with both guns and everything? And how did you crouch in time crisis without a pedal?
The Shar-Kade cost me $3k. The guns were sold separately, and I paid $400 each at the time of purchase. As for crouching in Time Crisis 5, set up thru the red button on the guns.

I haven't heard of a bitcade before. Now that you mention it, I'm going to Google it right now. I'll let you know my thoughts.
careful on what you get for the price , they hide there machines specs, ask what spec and performance , you dont want to pickup a arcade machine with a second hand upgraded dell machine , make sure its all new hardware, motherboard cpu, current gen , nothing obscure, you want to know the parts are hand picked off the current markets shelf , lot of UK companys use second hand dell machines
Is not possible to turn off the aimsight? For me that kill everything, is like using Training wheels to ride a Bycicle; You are doing it, but is too easy. The idea is to use the accuracy of your own sight, in lightguns. That was the real experience. Using a aimsight that let you know as a pointer, wich shoots are safe all the time in the game is like play Street Fighter with 1 button special move. I t will be fun, but is cheating too, as using turbo buttoms.

Just buy them off aliexpress they're quarter of the price for gun4ir they use the real time crisis arcade guns with recoil also brand new guns.

I wanna give this comment 3 💕s for the 🪓 🔪 🗡 combo🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, the "clack clack clack" does overstay its welcome pretty quick. Once that novelty wears off, you'll be over that noise sooner rather than later. I wanted the option to have it just in case I ever wanted to use it.
