Saw some comparisons with other Classified. The Steel Corps are a liitle on the short side.
The second helmet reminds me of the small 80s Air Raiders figures, I passed on these but would get them just for the Jet Packs to go with my custom Grandslam

I just got mine on Oct. 1 since the Amazon preorder was moved up from Nov. 1. One of weapons had a slightly bent scope and the tips on the thruster effects were a little bent.
I'm okay with the articulation and height since I want to get the flight stands so they look like they are flying. I also noticed the slightly loose knife sheaths but sticky tac should work. The peg hole on the female is a bit more shallow than the male so it sticks out a bit. Again, they'll be flying so it won't be noticeable. I did like the artwork in the front referencing the movie's opening sequence.

I think they look good, I like the Grunt helmet better though and saw a comparison with other classified figures and they're smaller, unfortunate.

I think the female looks the best from these 2. I do feel that if you remove the shoulder pads from the male, he'll be better proportionate.
Took the shoulder pads off right away and he looks way better
Kinda digging the shoulder pads, but also a fan of the Sigma Strike (Doom Guy) Duke.
Great review. Wish they used more recent bucks for these. Also Grunt’s steel brigade helmet has a different ball peg size than these, so it limits mixing and matching the helmet. I got this mainly for the jet packs. Wont be getting any more of these unless they show up at Ollie’s next year. 😅

Personally I'm going to hold off on these for now. Definitely want them at some point though.
The knife is an issue but what I did to fix That was to put a small bead of crazy glue right below the hole of the sheath on the belt. So when the knife slides into the sheath, the knife hamd guard will snaps into place.
Does the Grunt helmet fit on the male buck?
Unfortunately it does not and that was bad on me not add that in the review.
God forbid Hasbro design each figure instead of recycling parts from figures with horrible joints that should never be used again .For the cost of these I would expect more from Hasbro. I only pick up select characters due the cost and space needed. My primary collection is 3 3/4.
So do you complain that Chrysler or Ford reuse parts between their cars? I mean for what we pay every car should use different parts and not reuse any. See, this is how companies creat lines and make a profit, I’m not sure why people only seem to cry about it when it comes to toys.
Don't mind the reuse of parts that are good, it mainly has to do with bad ones like figure joints. The similar sculpt parts make it easy for the custom crowd. My big issue with classified has been poor joints and plastic that is too soft. @@Apunkwithtoys

Yes, I do believe they are Scarlets arms. Unfortunately you lose a lot of playability with them.

Cool review. On the fence about getting them though. That helmet is FUGLY!! The alternate is a little better.
Height comparisons?????
That's why I'm here. So far I haven't found any reviews that show height comparisons which is strange. I'm probably canceling my preorder for these. I like my Vala versions better. I just wanted the effects & jetpacks.
They don’t want to admit these are smaller figures. I’ve seen others who wanted this to be the action force killer but they sadly have to admit that the action force version is far superior.
I like the way the female figure looks. The male figure looks like a linebacker which I'm not sure if I'm a fan of. Definatly need to see how they look without the paldrons or maybe just one on the gun stock holding arm? Definatly removing from the male figure...why does it have shotgun shells when the figure doesn't come with a shotgun? 😂
Otherwise is the male figure a bit short? Oh well not a big deal. At least its no as big as gung ho or road block. They feel comically oversized in the line. 😂
Definatly keeping my bbts order. I think I'm going to display them with flightstands harasing a trouble bubble. I think that will look cool.
I can see these Steel "Brigades" as paratroopers compared to the Grunts with the helmet on as the ground force. Will most likely wait for them to be on sale or just buy the jetpacks separate from Mercari.
I regret not ordering one of these from the back of my comics.
