Broadcaster says this could really be a good rivalry for the next two or three years....We're now at twelve years and no letup yet! The best rivalry ..... in all of sports?

@@kju1382 It's because the contrast of gameplay of Fedal, one is athletic ferocious raging bull who likes rallies and defense with high bouncing top spin, the other is a genius maestro, offensive gameolay and out of the world shot making.

      I think DjokoFed is overshoadowed
      H2h 27-23 could have easily been 24-26
      14-14 on outdoor hard
      6-5 on indoor hard
      4-4 on clay
      3-1 on grass
While the others are surface dominant

It may very well be the #1: w/ Fed's status in Limbo / Pending, the battle is ongoing w/ a potential Wimbledon 2022 clash , along w/ events around the US Open if the ban on Novak in NY stands; the Fed - Nadal / Fed - Djokovic duels are also on the VERY "high end" , and those 3 combinations are collectively a touch above other great rivalries like Sampras - Agassi , who are a notch above the matches involving Borg, McEnroe & Connors: toss in Lendl against those 3 , along w/ Becker vs Edberg, which was great tennis: An underrated
one is Wilander v McEnroe, along w/ Wilander v Lendl; but YES, you're 100% CORRECT; upon reviewing the 2021 & 22 French Open Nadal - Novak battles, the level of striking is stunning; it almost like watching a Grass / Hard Court match... testimony from a Fed Fan that roots 4 him vs the 2 legends, that understands how good these guys are ; Fun 2 watch

both of them richly deserve what they got in this match...Rafa the honors of victory and djoko...crying tears...in the most unsportsmanly fashion... Rafa always deserves to win...the rest just do some last minute clever play and rob him of the wins he deserves... Anyways Rafa is the Olympic champ like none of the others...

Literally djokovic nadal already had high intensity matches even before they started playing grand slam finals. Nadal has lost every match to Djokovic in 2011 but as a nadal fan i still watch, each and every point has so much intensity and change of momentum. It's amazing to watch. This rivalry is handsdown the best in history.

At the final bits...Rafa has to stand so far away from the baseline - he is not even visible in the frame...but tackles every return from Djoko...!! what a tennisplayer he is...
for the simple tennis fan... djoko has completely lost that childlike look that used to be on his face...in those early days...he looks like a cruel demolisher now... cant bear to watch him these
days... And these others and experts talk of serve and volley at the net... can players like RafaNadal/djoko win at all without playing from the baseline...? silly experts...wonder what they go looking for...

Djokovic... royal pain...brings prayer and such other symbolic religious stuff to the sporting arena... should know that it is best to keep such things very personal... why do these people bring prayer and peace to a boisterous... raucously competitive situation... so ridiculous this sort of playing to the sentiments is... no wonder he plays his brand of politics as well in the world of tennis.
