Yes I totally believe this I am a nanny and I have learned that if I want everybody to leave on time I set up everything I can the night before we all know this one but then I take into account if I want kids to tie their shoes it's going to take them about 15 minutes Or that they're going to spell stuff during breakfast or I'm going to mess something up that's going to take up more time. Most people do not take aln this into account.
Oh and Bert they will all meet.... because of their spouses lol

What if you overplan the time? I say it takes me 2 hrs to get ready with travel time attached but I usually don’t need so much time.

I came to ask the same question lol. I always think I'm gonna need *hours* for something so I plan for such ..then I'm sitting around waiting cus I way overestimated how much time I'd need/how long something would take.

So essentially they're just bad at time management. I'm extremely good at time management and I can predict what time I will get my chores done and be somewhere an hour away a week in advance.

Also this is like 90% of the people in my life and it drives me absolutely crazy.
