- Sarcoidosis Diet: What are the best and worst foods to eat for sarcoidosis? Watch this video to find out! [A few surprising foods!]
💥Sarcoidosis Diet [Full Guide] ➜ ➜ ➜ bit.ly/3fAnYmr
A healthy, well-balanced diet is essential for improving your overall health. This is especially true for those with chronic conditions, such as sarcoidosis. The best diet for sarcoidosis is one that's high in anti-inflammatory foods and low in foods that are known to cause inflammation in the body. That is because chronic inflammation contributes to several disease processes, including those that affect the lungs.
➡️ Best Foods for Sarcoidosis
- Fish
- Poultry
- Apples
- Citrus fruits
- Bananas
- Leafy greens
- Tomatoes
- Bell peppers
- Blueberries
- Turmeric
- Ginger
- Salmon
- Flaxseeds
- Avocado
- Nuts
➡️ Foods to Avoid
There are several healthy foods that can help prevent or alleviate sarcoidosis symptoms. Many popular foods of the typical western diet have inflammatory effects that can worsen this condition.
➡️ What is Sarcoidosis?
Sarcoidosis occurs when the body's immune system overreacts and begins to attack its own cells and tissues. The exact cause of this is unknown. However, it is believed that sarcoidosis may be triggered by an infection, allergies, or exposure to certain chemicals or substances.
➡️ Signs and Symptoms
The signs and symptoms of sarcoidosis may vary depending on which organs are affected. Each person experiences symptoms differently. Some people have mild symptoms that go away on their own, while others may experience more severe symptoms that require medical intervention.
➡️ Diagnosis
Sarcoidosis can be difficult to diagnose because its symptoms are similar to those of other diseases. A diagnosis is usually made based on a combination of a person's symptoms, physical examination, and test results.
➡️ Treatment
There is no cure for sarcoidosis. However, treatment can help control the symptoms and prevent the disease from getting worse. Some of the most common treatment methods include:
-- Corticosteroids: These are anti-inflammatory drugs that can help reduce swelling and inflammation.
-- Immunosuppressants: These drugs can help suppress the immune system and prevent it from attacking healthy cells and tissues.
Surgery: In some cases, surgery may be necessary to remove affected organs or tissue.
-- Hydroxychloroquine: This drug helps treat skin lesions and can also improve lung function.
-- Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) inhibitors: These drugs are known for treating rheumatoid arthritis, but they can also be effective in treating sarcoidosis that has not responded to other treatments.
-- Close monitoring: Even if a patient is not receiving treatment, it's important to closely monitor their condition to ensure that it doesn't progress.
➡️ Key Takeaway
Eat more foods with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, while avoiding foods that are known for causing chronic inflammation throughout the body.

💥Sarcoidosis Diet [Full Guide] ➜ ➜ ➜ bit.ly/3fAnYmr
A couple of things that should be included are, if you're overweight, lose it...and get as much exercise as you can, including working out at a fitness center or gym.
I had to watch this to remember what foods I can't eat thank you
THIS VIDEO IS ON POINT ...IN MY OPINION...
Planet Ayurveda's "Sarco Care Pack' is the best for the treatment of Sarcoidosis. This pack includes- Punarnava mandur, Curcumin Capsules, etc Thanks Planet Ayurveda.
Im 38 year old. Few days ago i woke up out my sleep and noticed when i had yawned, my mouth was crooked . So once i observed that my smile wasn't the same and one side of face was dysfunctional. I contact my doctor and he immediately sent me to hospital where they ran shit load of testing and blood work. They always scare yu with cancer when they dont know whats going on inside yu. But then they came back next day and said " yu might have a rare decease called sarcoidosis" . The weird thing is I HAVE NO SIGNS OF ANY KIND OF SYMPTOMS! BLESSING SO FAR ! DONT POUT DONT MAKE EXCUSES , PRESSURE BUST PIPES BUT FOR SOME PPL IT MAKES THEM STRONGER! Some deceases can actually be a "cure" 😁 PAY ATTENTION ❤
Yeah , I have I have that.
And I took steroids and gained a lot of weight and i'm fighting to get it Off.
This was great information thank you for sharing
I didn't know this. Thanks.🙂🙂🙂
I had it on my lungs years ago. It caused me eye problems. I took steroids for quite a while and it disappeared. It has never come back . Will it come back?
I just diagnosed with sarcoidosis in March 2024
I question you putting vinegar on the avoid list. I think that you might be wrong on that one.
if he's a "Doctor" then of course he's wrong lol the are paid Big pharma shills not Doctors
I agree, especially organic apple cider vinegar with the mother.
@@americanbobtail1 agreed
What are the foods I can’t eat? What are the examples?? 🙄
thanks for these useful diet tips... along with this diet must try Curcumin capsules and Kanchnaar Guggul of Planet Ayurveda which is very effective in sarcoidosis management.
Any sources you can link? Such as the journal publications that investigated these things? In other words, links for the original sources and not links to another person doing exactly what you copy&pasted for this video.
I do the carnivore (eat only meat) way of eating. I have psoriatic arthritis, And degenerative disc disease. which are both audio immune diseases. I started this way of eating in March and June. My doctor and I agreed to take me off of Humira because my body is healing itself. My back is no longer in pain because I have no more information. My blood pressure was always high even with medication and now it is normal. I lose about 10 pounds a month and this has changed my life.
Why is it ok to eat tomatoes they do cause inflammation?
My ear and balance system was effected.
For sarcoidosis treatment there is no other better choice than ayurveda .....my cousin had this problem but he got treatment from planet ayurveda and he is doing fine now
I have it for ten years. The only way i found out was with a routine blood test that found high calcium in my blood. Taking methotrexate to shrink my lung nodules. My kindyes are at a stage three.
Be careful with long term methotrexate use it affects the liver.
I've had sarcoidosis since 2011, been prescription drug free for almost 8 years, eating healthy and finding the right herbs that help fight inflammation will be your best weapons.
Hope everything works out for you 🙏
LOOK INTO COQ10 & NAD
@@TB12DAGOATwhat are you eating and what are you avoiding are you eating rice ?
People suffering from Sarcoidosis may also follow diet chart by Planet Ayurveda, it is really helpful
my eye is affected and feel weak.
Anyone seeing this video with sarcoidosis in the lymph nodes? I have had a Lung Biopsy and have stage 2, which is in the lymph nodes. Doctors are not sure how to treat at the moment and are talking Methotrexate. I don't want to do it. Any thoughts are welcome.
Hi I have sarcoidisis had it for over 20 years , I wouldn't touch methotrexate it's got horrible side effects and can cause cancer , why hasn't your doctor prescribed Prednisolone? They usually talk about Methotrexate when steroids are not working or steroid side effects are too much .
I have enlarged lymph nodes in my lungs and I went through EBUS TBNA bronchoscopy and confirmed that I have sarcoidosis.
The doctor didn't suggest any medicine and is waiting for the complications if any before prescribing any drug.
@@MatureTaks Hi are you getting any chest pain or cough ?
@@davidGPS95 no medicine

I had sarcoidosis in my eyes 2
My aunt has lost her vision due to sarcoidosis

Not all citrus fruits, no no no
Why what's wrong with certain citrus fruits which citrus fruits ?
@@davidGPS95 Definitely oranges throw me into coughing fits, but I can strangely drink pure orange juice to get better, just cant eat the actual fruit.
@@inkfromthebrain I don't eat oranges anymore , I do juice them with other fruits , but i do like fresh orange juice 🥤🤤
Please someone please tell me how will it treated is it dangerous.. Sarcoidosis in lungs please.. Is it cancerous
It’s not cancer. And it depends what organs are being attacked. For me it’s muscular and joints
Treat it with Prednisone 40mg twice daily for 5 days, it will help but it'll come back later and you'll have to run another cycle
The most common treatment is do nothing, it gets better by itself
@@user-wh3vg4eg6hmy daughter is 16 she diagnose sarcidodis In the eyes I'm afraid of it the Dr is telling her to take the

@@ghulamdastagir1046 And how is respiratory infection med gonna cure sarcoid? If it was that easy everyone with sarcoid would take it and be a curable disease. Really insulting.
