Stubborn Husky Argues With His Food! I Think He's Broken!!

- Teddy is petrified of his new treat! He's so unsure of what it is and investigates it so cautiously! He barks and howls at it but of course it doesn't do much for the situation. It takes him so long to get close enough to just sniff it and realise it may just be food! We have two other dogs so we brought them in to show Teddy how a dog should act with their treat. Buddy the golden retriever was left outside with his treat as although they're all friend it's just better to limit the opportunity with food and him being such a submissive dog in a pack of wolves haha. Teddy is suc an adorable dog but he sure does have some wierd tendancies, lets call them charachter traits. We love him to bits he's so entertaining.
Teddy could grow to the size of a polar bear and he'd still act like he thinks he's still a puppy. 😂
And get beaten up by the cat

Teddy is probably the only dog of the trio that is afraid of his own shadow. And Phil looks so dapper with his scarf on.

It’s the name, I think. He’s the third one I’ve known of and all have been timid or even cowardly. Of course, tormenting him isn’t kind either. He’s clearly unimpressed by treated cow ears.

Cow ears? OK. You get more pigs ears here (US). That and various kinds of horn. All for chewing. The ears have collagen - the horn is good for strong teeth.

This doesn't surprise me at all about Teddy. He has always seemed to be not food motivated. He also seems to love making friends with all creatures. My guess is he thought it was one of Amelias toys and didn't want to upset his sister, or he recognized that as a sheep or goat ear and wasn't tempted to eat it. He would probably rather play with the animal than eat it... good thing he's a house dog!

Teddy's not broken. He's a cautious pup. He simply isn't food motivated (unless it's Milo's treat🙄)
I just found out recently that huskies in general aren’t food motivated! So interesting!
@@oliviabb73849 it depends on the individual pup, what their food motivation is. You can not always go by stereotype. It also has to do with training. If a puppy is taught that their food isn't going to vanish if they pause eating for a moment. Goes a long way of reducing food motivation.
@@oliviabb73849 Teddy is NOT a husky! He's a malamute, just like Phil and Niko! Emma and Shane only call him husky to increase viewership, to gain more traction as people are more familiar with huskies as a breed and Teddy sort of looks like one

Teddy is not broken malamutes and huskies each one has a different personality but they're very vocal they like to talk. They're very playful it's just the nature. They are a working breed you have to get them a job . It's a must. Teddy is adorable but like a child there are certain things that he has to inspect especially if you never had it before. Wouldn't you !? Plus your playing to much food time is food time , treat time a treat time . Just maybe Teddy never experienced a treat like what you're giving him so it's only natural for him to be unsure that's a good thing . These "Fur Children" are very intelligent . Just be patient . Thank you for reading my message . I have been rescuing since the age of 8 years old. I just stopped about 2 weeks ago now after over 40 years and that was my second job but I loved it I love animals I love rescuing and I love making people pay for harming their fur children , whether mentally or physically .
