Thanks. I’m a new investor with Schwab. I liked your video because you explained about “market “ and “limit orders “. A stock I was into for $1K dived to almost what I bought at. I didn’t know how to sell so I sold with a Day and market setting. It told me what I was selling for so I pulled the trigger and still came out $35 more than I went into it for and didn’t lose any money.
I have a need to know what all the different types or parameters of buying and selling are. I used day and market for buying both of my positions but think the limit scenario is super useful especially with selling. Now that I bought and sold I feel more confident. Thanks. I liked your vid and subscribed.

Schwab best for people who love to travel and invest. Also, occasionally option trade.
Fidelity is for those that are cheap and live a local life. Also, some high speed non-option day trading.
Vanguard for set it and forget it investing. Also, great for estate planning and tax efficiency.

Vanguard is the broker that everyone needs … just keep buying there index funds and you will get wealthy over time with zero risk and zero work. Yes that did become to boring for me so I started a Charles Schwab account and I’m buying activity traded funds now for a little more fun 🤩and excitement ❤😊.

Still doing my research on investing. I screwed the pooch when I first opened an account with TD Ameritrade. Little did I know. I was buying stocks on borrowed money. Called Margin trading. Lesson learned. Im not yet recouped but in do time. Luckily I can pay off what is owed if needed. Thanks for the vids.

I use fidelity investments they aren’t like webull and robinhood with free stocks the stock investing isn’t supposed to be free to start to me getting free stocks from the two apps I mentioned it takes away the effort to growing and making the portfolio with stock(s) you can choose instead of a random selection but other’s have their options and I’m saying my opinion about webull and robinhood

No reason not to. Schwab is absorbing TD Ameritrade throughout next year and will be adding a lot of features to what they already offer.

      There are some trade offs.
      Schwab Pros:
      - Better customer service 24/7.
      - More investing choices with less fees (custodial account, 529 plan, SEP IRA, and HSA).
      - Option trading and generally better for trading.
      - An easy to use international checking account.
      - Better credit cards.
      M1 Finance pros:
      - Fractional shares for all USA ETFs and stocks.
      - More pre-built portfolios.
      - Easier to automate a customized ETF portfolio, especially for dividends.

  • @Mark-sn6kh
    @Mark-sn6kh Před rokem +2

Schwab will be adding Thinkorswim next year as TD Ameritrade accounts are rolled over into Schwab, which is a great trading software.
Also know Schwab has brokers on the line 24/7. Free to talk to. There is a charge for placing a trade through the broker, but they'll also walk you through it online for free.
Schwab also has a lot of material and tools on their website once you login.

2 things I really like about Schwab:
      - Dividend tracker. Easy to estimate future dividends and keep track of current YTD dividend payments.
      - "WalkLimit" feature for option trading. Huge entry point hero!
