She literally had to use her strongest attack to beat Aether/Lumina and while Aether/Lumina lost the duel Arlecchino is two ranks above Scaramouche who Aether/Lumina had lost against 168 times. Sure, Scaramouche was being empowered by the Electro Gnosis at the time but even without it he proved himself to be at least somewhat more powerful and skilled than Aether/Lumina by defeating the memory of that Scaramouche by himself. It’s just not a surprise that Arlecchino won the duel if anything this duel says more about Arlecchino and the Harbingers as a whole because there seems to be a massive gap in power between the top 3, and the bottom 7.
Being beaten by Scaramouche 168 times then be knocked out in five seconds with a noxious gas by Dottore after the fight showed the gap well too. I really can’t wait to be shown the gap that Captiano and Columbina have over us. Then outside of the Fatui, we got to see Skirk have reality-bending powers way above our own skill level after the fight with the whale. The robot worm, however, definitely is a gap that outshines them all. We really shouldn’t underestimate the robot worm.

Arlecchino is the best father anyone could have, she may act all strong and show no emotion. But deep down she truly cares about her kids. I hope later on in the story she becomes one of the good guys, like helping us take down her god
Can I be honest with u?... I dont see it. Sure, shes protective and will guide them, but beyond that and even in this video, we see her many flaws and negative traits Shes cold, distant, emotionally unavailable, and tells her kids to ignore/reject key emotions like sorrow or anger, instead of teaching em how to accept and work through them. When was the last time she gave any of them a hug or just told em she loved them? For kids, it's important to understand and work past said emotions, not just reject them. That bottles it up and eventually the cork bursts. Or they build negative coping habits. Heck, I fear her having "the talk" with her kids is going to end in trauma or wanting their memories burned away😂

to be fair scaramouche defeated the traveler and nahida like 168 times. The traveler only won because they got help from Nahida and the people from Sumeru.. Same with Ei only reason why the travler won because yae miko and got buffed from 100 visions

More like losing is the main power the Traveler has mastered. Not like victory was ever a thing in Genshin Impact. It's more like fight a boss make it look like you win then lose a Gnosis, wash, rinse, repeat. Sure Arlecchino is an outstanding character with great looks & what not, but that's usually what happens to most movies & shows when they make villains, bosses, or badguys look so good that most viewers will want to cheer for the badguy which can cause writers to create folly endings that don't settle well at all.

It even had that same ominous crimson void in the distance. A lot of people forget that against Ei, we had the blessings of everyone whose visions had been taken away, and used that to defeat her... Arlecchino is number 4th of the Fatui and Nahida said that up to number 3 and higher have God like powers, Arlecchino is pretty high up there with God like powers while the traveler still hasn't reached that point with his powers

She wouldn’t expect such a huge combo of elemental power from a single opponent. Or.. and hear me out ..are the developers waiting for the Traveler to use a "final attack" against The Tsaritsa where they use *ALL* of the seven elemental powers to defeat her?
I'd wager because the Traveler is frightened and isn't focusing like they should be, and the writers are trying to move away from the elemental powers because they don't provide meaningful improvements to the Traveler's abilities, and if they did they'd have to justify why the Traveler can't use them more often to solve problems. Another thing is that a lot of the Traveler's Skills and Bursts would be counterproductive in a fight with allies that they could hit accidentally with a large AoE. Then again, the Traveler might be thinking with their 'sword' rather than their brain, because Arlecchino does come on strong. Just ask Furina...
With full buffs and blessing from the visions + help of yae, and that win is just the traveller being lucky. If Raiden is focused on killing the traveller in their fight, Inazuma was the end of Genshin's story.

Arlecchino doesn't want to be anything like the previous leader so she is now cold and unfeeling but cares deep down while also changing the title name to "father" that way she's nothing like the previous "mother" So yeah despite the person being female "father" is just a title.

Aether/Lumine is just meh, totally bland and all they do is huff and pant in cutscenes showing minimal effort, not using the powers they have and just getting outshined by everyone and everything
I play Genshin for story/lore and map updates but other than that it's an extremely mid game with no endgame to speak of, making it pointless to pull for characters when you think about it because there's nothing to do with them
