I know how much Keith loves Heart. There is a Crossroads special for tv from years ago of Wynonna singing with Heart. I think that you would really enjoy it. I know there are clips from it on CZcams. I know that the original special aired on CMT. That series is where a country artist is paired with an artist from a different genre and they go back and forth with each artists songs for a whole concert special.
An extremely gifted songwriter, guitarist, harmonicist and singer who stayed true to his music and became a Country Music Legend in the 1990s. My favorite songs by Clint Black (from oldest to newest) are A Better Man; Put Yourself in My Shoes; Where Are You Now; Loving Blind; No Time to Kill; A Good Run of Bad Luck; State of Mind; A Bad Goodbye (duet with Wynonna Judd); Half the Man; Happiness Alone; One Emotion; Summer's Comin'; Desperado (cover of a classic by The Eagles); The Shoes You're Wearing; Nothin' But the Taillights; That Something in My Life; Loosen Up My Strings; Still Holding On (duet with Martina McBride); Something That We Do; You Don't Need Me Now; You Know It All; Love She Can't Live Without; and When I Said I Do (duet with his wife, Lisa Hartman Black). BTW, he wrote or co-wrote every one of these songs except for Desperado.
Wenonah it's incredibly powerful. But she also has an exceptional tender to her voice when she doesn't belt she just thinks about it. Great reaction Dustin.
Dustin is right you definitely missed it. The hardest part of having a voice like hers is knowing when to use restraint. If you belt everything sing you become one dimensional.
For Wynonna's pure pipes try 'He Was My Strongest Weakness'. For another good rocking number try 'No One Else On Earth'. For some beautiful harmony try The Judds - her with her mother Naomi. 'Rockig With The Rhythm of the Rain'. Clint Black does a wonderful cover of 'Desperado'. Some others of his to try: 'Like The Rain', 'A Good Run of Bad Luck', 'Nothing But The Taillights'.
Great reaction guys! Dustin is of course right and has excellent taste as always. I knew after I had Martina melt Keith’s face in the last duet with Clint he would be underwhelmed by this one. I’m picking a different state next time. No really good Texas bourbons left to send. (Thanks Steve 😂) Glad you didn’t hate it at least!
I disagree, Wynona sang the song the way it was meant to be sang. She didn’t need to oversing the song. Back in the day it was so awesome! In 2024 we have a ton more singers and songs that seem to be more extravagant like. Like oversinging a lot. It’s hard for me to find the right words.
If you can find it I saw him preform this solo on the Opra show back in the day. In that performance it’s just him & a guitar. If you want to see him at his truly best look up his duet with the Pointer Sisters singing Chain Of Fools. It’s from the album Rhythm, Country & Blues which is all duets between Country & R&B artists.
I recommend checking out Clint Black song "Cadillac Jack Favor " it was based on a true story & it also was made in to a movie starting Clint Black and his wife Lisa Hartman Black.
Wanna hear her do Alone…you all sensing the Wynonna Heart vibe is spot on to the point CMT Crossroads paired them. It would make for a long review but ya’ll would LOVE that episode and…wait for it…Martina McBride and Pat Benetar was phenomenal too. The Bon Jovi Sugarland episode resulted in a cross over duet after the show cause their episode was awesome too. Second…Wynonna did one thing she was amazing at…Harmony. Ya’ll really need to watch more “The Judds”. I highly recommend “Grampa”, “Love can build a bridge”, “Have Mercy” and “Don’t be cruel”…Young Love are all awesome. Oh and I love Turn It Loose. Ok as I’m typing this ya’ll go to the creeper level about Alone lmao. For real I now want to see you guys react the the whole Heart/Wynnona Crossover episode because you should also hear Heart cover Wynonna and Judds music.
I think this was a Clint song. She was doing basically backup back then. She was doing her thing, just more subtle. They both can rip at any given time. I think it was the song.
I always liked that song. Here are some other largely forgotten and underrated duets to check out. Micheal Martin Murphy and Holly Dunn "A Face In The Crowd " from 1987. Nominated for a Grammy as Duet of the year. It was a consensus Top 5 hit. I'm disappointed that no one has reacted to this yet. Holly's songs need more reaction's all around. She did allot more than just "Daddy's Hands". Lari White and Esera Tuaolo "Another Broken Heart" is amazing, and there is a video for this one. Lari literally looks like an Ethereal Goddess in this. Lordy Mama! Too Beautiful for words. This awesome video should have Millions of views. It has very few. Lari White and Toby Keith "Only God Could Stop Me Loving You" from 1998 is just incredible. Kelly Willis and Kevin Welch "That'll Be Me" a song they wrote together from Kelly's 3rd album in 1993 is so hauntingly beautiful it will bowl you over. Marty Brown and Joy Lynn White "I Love Only You" a very pretty song from Marty's 3rd album back in 1994. All of these songs deserve to be heard and reacted too. I think you already reacted to Lari White and Travis Tritt "Helping Me Get Over You" from 1997 which they wrote together. But maybe not? I remember you reacting to Lari's songs "Now I Know" and Wild At Heart". Maybe you didn't get to "Helping Me Get Over You" yet? The video has over 11 million views on CZcams. Hope you can get to some of these very soon. All of them are terribly overlooked.
@@Sweetfarmers I'm trying to change that. I know once people hear voices like Lari's, Holly's and Kelly's they are going to attract plenty of new fans. All three of them so immensely talented. Great song writers and musicians. They have so many songs I'd like to see reacted too between them. Three of the most underrated and under pushed female Country Artists ever. Three of the most beautiful as well. Literally nobody had any - better of a voice then Lari did. Holly also had a duet with Kenny Rogers called "Maybe" that I failed to mention earlier.
As always, I will request more Toby Keith. “I Wanna Talk About Me”, “Who’s Your Daddy?”, “You Shouldn’t Kiss Me Like This”, “A Little Too Late”, “Whiskey Girl”
Please review Lari White's duet with Travis Tritt that they wrote from 1997 called "Helping Me Get Over You". Also Lari White and Toby Keith's Duet "Only God Could Stop Me Loving You".And Lari had another duet with a Spanish Artist called "Another Broken Heart" that is worthy of attention as well. Thanks.
If you want a good Wynonna, solo, belting song, try "No One Else On Earth." If you want Wynonna when she was younger, try anything by The Judds, it was a duo with her and her mother Naomi.
@@lisawilham-pepperI came in to say that… I can’t listen to that song without balling like a baby anyways. They could react to it bc it’s an awesome song, but I wouldn’t be able to watch it.
@amandareeves7797 they did that one quite a while back. If you type into the search "Bourbon Country Reacts Daddys Hands" or "Bourbon Country Reacts Holly Dunn" you should find it.
"Country Barry Manilow"😂😂😂😂Absolutely hilarious, but you're right that people are gonna hate you for saying it.😂😂 I agree that Wynonna should have had a more prominent role in the song. This is essentially a Clint Black song with Wynonna taking a back seat. I also got blue eardrums when I first heard it.😂😂 If you wanna hear Wynonna do "Alone", check out the CMT Crossroads episode where Wynonna and Heart share a stage. It's freaking epic.

This was Clint’s song…Wy wouldn’t over-sing Clint. She was simply supporting him.
Clint was honored with the Poet's Award and Lady A sang this as a tribute. They did an amazing job!

I saw them do this on the Black and Wy tour at The Gorge at, George WA in 1993. I loved this song!
Wynona actually performed with Heart in a CMT Crossroads. You need to check it out.
Wenonah it's incredibly powerful. But she also has an exceptional tender to her voice when she doesn't belt she just thinks about it. Great reaction Dustin.
Oh my goodness. What a treat for my ears. Those voices blend so well. I loved it. Never heard this before. It was great.
I had never heard this song. Beautiful
Just a beautiful song…I’m not a country music fan but I love this song !! Clint black is great!
This song did NOT call for her to belt. It was a goodbye song after all.
Agreed.
Dustin is right you definitely missed it. The hardest part of having a voice like hers is knowing when to use restraint. If you belt everything sing you become one dimensional.
Clint was amazing and on top of country back in his musical prime. He also could have been Roy Rogers son...he has his eyes.
I have always said that also!
For Wynonna's pure pipes try 'He Was My Strongest Weakness'. For another good rocking number try 'No One Else On Earth'. For some beautiful harmony try The Judds - her with her mother Naomi. 'Rockig With The Rhythm of the Rain'.

Yesssss! Before I even watch the video I’m so excited about this song! It’s soooo good!
I recommend checking out Clint Black song "Cadillac Jack Favor " it was based on a true story & it also was made in to a movie starting Clint Black and his wife Lisa Hartman Black.
Yeah I did send a bottle of that awhile back
❤❤❤
And no me and Kat didn’t go to the Devils River Distillery, they were closed because it was during Christmas holiday

9:40 pretty sure this was pre-disney princess of the earliest 90s

Even better than this is Clint's duet with Martina McBride on "Still Holding On."
Clint has natural vibrato which is a treat to the ear. Barry Manilow's unnatural vibrato is absolutely pisspoor.
Blue Ear balls! 🤣😂🤣

Y’all have to check out Rustin’ in the Rain by Tyler Childers it’s amazing!
Gotta disagree! Wynona was great!! Great song there!!!!!!❤❤❤
Love that you don't edit 😂
You guys did how many videos in row. Before this one
Amen to Barry Manilow! One amazing singer/songwriter!❤❤
And one of the best jingle writers ever. He's responsible for "You Deserve a Break Today" and "Stuck on Band-Aids"
How would Martina be with Alone? Wynona has a country twang, so it counts as country. (new standard)
Try Wynona listen to Daddy's Hands
Holly Dunn sang Daddy's Hands.

Wynonna could not full on belt in a song with Clint Black, he's amazing at what he does, but he doesn't have the pipes to match her.
Personally, I don't see being compared to Barry Manilow as an insult. I love his music!
Got a great song for you guys Vince Gill " It's Hard to Kiss the Lips at Night That Chew My Ass All Day" Given to him by his Dad.
you need to see their LIVE performance !!! This was NOT it!!!
Not a song to listen to when you’re going through a breakup.
