I really have been enjoying watching your videos as I'm learning about window replacement for my house here in Tampa. I have one company really pushing the Simonton Stormbreaker Plus. Others are recommending PGT winguard. The PGT dealers are telling me that the pgt's are not as bulky as Simonton and are a better window. If it was your house, what manufacturer would you go with and why? I really respect your opinion as I watch your educational videos. Thank you
Hello ! Thank you for the kind words. It means a lot. I personally do not know Simonton Compnay, so I unfortunately I cannot provide an opinion over them. PGT is a very big company that has been around for a very long time, this is good because chances of them being in business in the future is very high. When it comes to windows and doors, you really want to work with a manufacture that has a reputation of high quality materials but also servicing any issues that may happen to the products. In my professional opinion, you cannot go wrong with PGT as you will have the peace of mind knowing you have high quality products. Wish you all the best, keep in mind the most important thing aside from the project is the contractor you choose to work with, it is a big construction project, but worth every minute once it's done !
