Multi-tools are very useful for both survival and bushcraft, and often expensive. Let's take a look at a budget option. #bushcraft #survival #budget #ozark trail multi-force
I will see what i can do for you, Right now its packed away in my pack, plan on takeing it with me on a vid I plan on makeing this weekend if nothing happens. I will try and make sure to use it and get it on vid for ya.
Being on a limited budget (always) I cannot afford $80-$150 for every piece of gear it’s the difference between being adequately equipped and not. Just like knife steel just need it to work, I’m not cutting boxes all day, webbing, sisal rope, etc.
For a third the price of a Wave, I'll leave this in my car as a spare. It's not as good as the flagship models, but it is on par with the Wingman. But I just picked up a new Rebar to gift to a friend, and it's not as well made as the one I've carried for over a decade, and honestly, Leatherman's prices are getting ridiculous. And since this takes everyone's bits, you can add an awl to easily enough with a modded drill bit.
I guess it depends where you are, I've never ran into nuts and bolts in the forest. I could see it for in the car maybe, but there is little you can do with a bit and nut driver there. just me
I tend to find alot of uses for it in the woods. Finding barbed wire is common, and it has knife blades. I have used the pliers to pull splinters out many times. Make small wood stoves out of cans. Its all up to a person's adaptability
You sound like a good and caring friend giving something quite serviceable and to save expenditure.
I do my best to take care of the people close to me
I'd like to see a quick follow up vid on how fast the blads dulls. Nice vid!

8cr is a better steel than 420hc and can say first hand its edge lasts longer than the wave
@@keeperoftruth5951 It seems to hold up ok. I do need to do an update video on it sometime.

always good to have a backup
Let's be clear, it's not a knockoff. It's Walmart offering a well-made tool at a killer deal.
It's really good for the price. It is nice to have that option available
What's the brand of the 1/4 adapter? I've been looking for one with a spring loaded ball but haven't had success finding one. Thanks
I think kline tools make them

Oh dear, do you never carry your tools when you're not in the forest?
Nevermind. I got the price. Leatherman all the way for price. 100 times the quality.
Leatherman is hard to beat.
Leatherman done out priced themselves! Still has its limitations just like any other tool.
Lol not even close man. The Ozark trail has performed better than the wave in my experience.
