Rob Dorsett reports at England training ahead of tomorrow's Euro 2024 semi-final against the Netherlands.
He says he expects Marc Guehi to return to the XI and says it's between Kieran Trippier and Luke Shaw to start as left-wing back.

Why is it either Guehi or Konsa to be dropped? Why is the other central defender not in the conversation about who should be dropped? Especially when both Guehi and Konsa have been more impressive than him🤔

Luke Shaw HAS to play. He changes the dynamics of the team. Natural left footed player in his best position. Kyle Walker hasn't been running the line as much since Luke Swaw hasn't been playing. HE HAS TO START.

Marc Guehi and Ezri Konsa have got the highest player ratings for England defenders in the England matches so far. So logically the two should be picked to start the next game, but I bet no one has the courage to drop John Stones - not even to suggest it🤷🏽♂️.
Why would you drop stones? Defense is the least of England's concerns.
They play better when they play with Stones. That's why Stones has been playing all the games something he doesn't even do for City.

Luke shaw should start he has strength and can defend he’s played for us in a back 4 as left sided cb plus he gives us that left sided balance. If luke says he’s ready he’s ready.

Konsa & Guehi should both be starting Ezri Konsa was outstanding v Switzerland & I couldn't understand why he was the one subed off when Stones/Walker were very average at best. Ezri Konsa is so underated,but showed how good he is in the last game. Kane starting after 5 piss poor displays is pure favoritism & nothing else.

I would take Stones out, he was at fault for the Swiss goal and should have cleared it. I would have Walker, Konsa, Guehi & Shaw if back four or Walker, Konsa & Guehi if back three
Konsa was also at fault, he got nutmegged yet this journalist guy keeps saying Konsa was great. He wasn’t great, just decent, Guehi was much more stable at the position. Stones is definitely starting, not even a question. Really hope that Netherlands win and finally put this woeful England experiment to bed.
