- Two NYPD officers are recovering tonight after getting into a shootout with a suspect on a moped. They were trying to stop him from going the wrong way down a one-way street and it's now been revealed that he is a migrant here illegally from Venezuela. FOX 5 NY’s Michelle Ross has the details.

Not great, that's for sure. Robbery and Felonious Assault are UP 2.5% and 13.9% respectively from this point 2 years ago.
But remember when Republican Rudy Giuliani left office back in 2001? NYC recorded only 649 murders for the entire year. Rudy was hailed as a hero that saved the city and I'd wholeheartedly agree . Of course, last year NYC recorded 391 murders, which was 258 FEWER murders than when Rudy left and people are _very_ upset.
