I don't understand, it's all green leafy growth you cut down. Why get rid of your tomato plants before the tomatoes are even ripe??? Why not wait for fall and winter to do its job and then clean it up??? 🤦‍♀️

Thank you for your comment 😁 There's a couple of reasons for us, I have very limited time to do fall cleanup as we are building a greenhouse that is taking most of our time. So if I didn't do it early, it wouldn't get done. I like doing it in the fall so that come spring, I can go straight to planting and not have to worry about clean up. I also like to make green salsa out of green tomatoes, and I only had a small amount of green tomatoes left. Hope that answers your questions 😊
