  • I've been to Fushimi Inari in the past and it was one of those places I can remember, but at the time not aware of its popularity and significance. This time around, I was certainly aware of how crazy it can get, as its one of the most visited sites in Kyoto. I knew if I wanted certain shots of the place, I'd need to get there pretty early. I went through my usual "why am I up before 5am??" thoughts when I first woke up that morning, but within minutes I pushed myself to get up. That is certainly the hard part and I was able to get there as the sun came up. There's something truly unique and mystical about many locations in Japan and Fushimi Inari is no exception. I made it to the top in just an hour and it made the early morning all worth it.

It really is an incredible track! Sifting through a huge music library can be daunting but totally worth it when there's music that feels just right.

You really captured the beauty of Fushimi Inari. I was here recently as well and it's great to see someone else's perspective and style of shooting of the same place!
