That first highnote after that Baekhyun run was definitely Baekhyun too, together with Taemin or Ten (they harmonize on that part). But that highnotes towards the end is definitely just Baekhyun alone.

I think the first high note harmonization with Baekyun at "set you free" is Ten. If I didn't know Ten could hit that type of note I would say Taemin, but he hit a note kinda similar in WayV's "Take Off". Also, I agree we need a dance performance and practice. A dance performance in their black outfits would be dope as hell. Kai's "paraglide" verse was SMOOOOOOOOOTH. Mark's second rap verse was INSANE. I kinda wish Lucas would've had more lines than he did; at least one or two lines of him actually rapping but he still sounded great. Overall, my expectations were exceeded and I'm glad all of them got a good portion as a center throughout the vid, they all sounded great, and obviously, the choreography was amazing.
I was thinking about how Lucas needed more lines.
Dance king Kai, Centre Kai, Manbun Kai is now Vocalist Kai.
Baekhyun is of course the king of all vocolists.

Theroies:
1) The light streaks you mentioned following the cars remind me of the same ones shown when Kai teleported so maybe its showing the hes following them looking for Baekyun?
2) Wondering if the lights that are above them in some of the dance scenes are what created the Colosseum because you can kinda see at the end of the MV when it disappears the robot light things come back and it shows light beams coming out of them that are the same blue color of the disappearing Colosseum.
3) Also The part with Taemin (i guess putting on? the light suit) makes me think back to him being in control so maybe he was the one who built the Colosseum
4) Kai and Baekyun were shown with the helicopter. Ten and Lucas with the tank. Mark and Taeyong with the cars. and the Taemin with the motorcycle so wonder if that means anything?
5) lights mentioned in #1 are only shown following the tank, cars and motorcycle. not the helicopter which had kai and baekyun
6) also that white room you pointed out that had the machines and tracks it looks like in the whole MV only Taemin and Baekyun are shown in a similar room that looks to be inside the huge cylinder
This is all I have for now but its super interesting and I'm excited to read and hear how people might piece things together for the story

You need to react to Taemin since the only one you really haven't done yet.
I haven't done any of the NCT groups yet either... I've only done NCT (Black on Black) and only Shinee (Prism). They are on the list...

Babe you've spoken my mind about how I feel about the group!! And as Baekhyunie said during their premiere Q&A (in English no less) - they want to bring kpop to a new level. We need to take this moment in and realize that it is not every day we see groups collaborating at this level. They totally slayed it and it's great to see their bond getting stronger by the day 💕
I thoroughly enjoyed the music video, visuals, and choreography the most. The more I listen the more I love. I think Mark carries the song for me mostly then the vocals. I can’t wait to listen to their album and see other members shine. I did hear/read that mark is in all songs very prominently which isn’t surprising at all lmao that man is SM’s golden boy. I wanted more storyline and I’m beginning to wonder if I missed subtle things that are storyline worthy but who knows. Since finding out about exo storyline I thought the lights were baekhyun and I could be totally wrong. It gave me everything I wanted and then some. I’m happy for the guys as they seemed so excited about this album and project as a whole. Very proud. Song overall isn’t exactly something I’d go to every day but would never skip either lol they did their thing. And hopefully this will make SM treat their artists better. Obviously it’s a great company to a good extent but a lot could be improved. This was definitely promoted better than some other projects were just from SM alone. Time will tell on that part anyways, now all I need is a dance practice. Performance video. And another MV to aid the storyline a little better, I can be hopeful on that! I would hate that it would just be this MV for the album.. please do one more MV labels!!!!
I wake up in the morning tow watch press conference and than I saw the official MV, I had to watch 10 times to understand what was goin on because it was so fast, now I can say clearly that they look and sound amaizing, the choreo is wow, Baekhyun's vocals sounds unreal(he reminds me 100% of Adam Lambert high notes fight me), Taemin is an whole snack and Kai too, Mark and Taeyong are so cute OMG, Lucas looks so gooood! The whole MV it's an absolutely amaizing it looks like a movie for real, SM spent a lot of money on this I'm sure it's high budget because of the location, sport cars, motorcycle, helicopter and outfits, it looks super expensive and high quality. It sound rock but also pop, something combined, I'm sure people will go crazy. Also I was impressed by Baekhyun at the press conference because he said something in english and it sound so good my cat I'm proud of you, also everyone watched at Kai at the press conference you know he was wow, also Mark speaks very well english and Ten too, Taeyong was a little shy, taemin was very confident and Lucas shy too. But overall I'm glad I was able to wake up to watch them live and than the MV came in. I'm happy what can I say, EXO-L from Romania cheer for them and everyone talks about SuperM and they support these amaizing dudes! Love your reactions and you too are super cute and I'll support your channel how much I can because you're amaizing!

IM NOT SURE . Im not sure but I actually think that high note with Baekhyun you were talking about was Baekhyun himself., I mean .. I know I heard that same thing from City Lights :-D While it could be possible that it was Taemin, that pitch is so Baek. I mean.. yeah? I could be wrong tho. Im sorry in advance. lol! I loved this...the song, the mv.... everything. My only takeaway is that I think Ten and Lucas got a bit...how should I put it....in NCT speak, they got Johnny-ed or Winwin-ed or in EXO speak, they got Lay-ed. Like you see them in the beginning of the mv, but then you really don't get them in focus again til towards the end of the mv. Hopefully they will get more time to shine in the next single. Other than that, everything else was thumbs up for me, and can't wait to see more. Plus I'm looking forward to the dance practice.

Every time I listen to this song I get more heart palpitations. I knew these boys were going to kill me. What is there even to say? This was so much more than I could've ever hoped and wished for. I legit am staying up for hours after a back-shift to cycle through all my favorite reactors reacting to this (except for one who sadly got a guideline strike for making a playlist just hours before this launched and he now can't upload for a week, grrrrr). I haven't even listened to the downloaded version of the album on my iTunes account yet. I couldn't wait for my hard copy of the album to get here. I'm waiting for you to ship it Amazon, do you hear me?! I need sleep so bad but I need to listen to more of this amazing-ness even more.

Didn't Exo just have comebacks not too long ago? I've definitely seen a lot of blinders on by some haters who can't seem to understand that these artists are actual people. That they're friends and label mates, that they all want each other to succeed and to succeed together. Theyd be very hurt to see the things people are saying.
That in itself should make all the haters just stfu for a minute and support them as a group. I dont know how many times they and the company have to say that this project doesn't mean they wont be promoting with their groups before people calm down. Like are people going to hate what your faves are doing and wish them to fail in their first foray in the U.S. just cause people aren't comfortable with change?

I am already addicted to this song and the choreo seems dope but we definetely need a dance practice for it.. Everything in the mv was so quickly passing but even in like a 2 second appearance Kai managed to kill me again and again.. Lucas and Mark right now are strong candidates for bias wrecker position (sorry Baek 😃) Lucas is so handsome and Mark's rapping really got to me.. also I find Mark's crush on Kai incredibly cute that it makes me so soft 😃
No one else that caught that Ten might be working together with Taemin? He is paired up with him in the group trailer and in the MV he is the only one also in that armor thing just like Taemin...

Actually with the high note, Baekhyun finishes his run, and then Taemin adds another run and holds the lower note, so most likely it's baekhyun who does the highest harmony too, as he has some time to breathe during Taemin's run.

i've got the flu so i was like barely aware when i saw the premiere but now that i'm a little more awake i can fully appreciate it and OHMYGOD. everyone looked so GOOD. i was screaming about kai the whole time and baekhyun's high notes!!! the visuals and effects were on point. i wish i could see them live so much ahhh i'm wishing you guys the best of luck getting tickets! ❤️
During the beginning phase of SM, Lee Soo Man has shared his views of chasing the American validation (it was never his thing) and that was from BoA's time. So when he started EXO, the vision was Asia specific. Kai said this Super M was envisioned a while ago. We are only now hearing about it several months ago. He was happy to be debuting with Taemin (and we know how close they are, especially since he might have been initially slated for SHINee). So this project is extra special for many of these guys. It's a moment in their lives that they will never forget. And to have fans, cause I can't even call them EXO-Ls, bring their vitriol and after the announcement of the concerts say-- have fun performing in an empty stadium. Nope. I have no understanding of that petty sh*t. And I don't call them fans.

I just listened line distribution and I was shooked because the main singers here were Baekhyun, Kai and Taemin: 20:54 Baekhyun and Taemin, 21:44 that high note was Baekhyun but also Kai and Taemin wow it just blow me away, I din't know Kai can sing like that damn, also Lucas sings a lot here so 14:49 ''put your hands in the air ....'' was Lucas.

Its an official video on SuperM's CZcams channel. its one of the best behind the sense Kpop shooting videos I have watched and it really helps to explain the concept and story behind the song and the group. Its well worth the 30-plus minute video. Please check it out, even if you don't react to it. :D

As an Exo I am upset but at the same time I am glad SM pulled the boys out of the Dungeon. By the way the white room would be Taemin's Iron Man technology room where he builds his suit including the 3d visuals of his helmet and what not.
Remember they are marketed as the Avengers of Kpop. Ten looks like he is doing the Black Panther. The streaks of light is a visual you would find off one of the marvel/avengers films. Also the Horns is very similar to the Avenger' Theme song from the films. It is a well done tie in.

The lights following behind the tank are the visual representation of fans following them. Bookish Theories has also did a mindblowing analysis of Jopping as well! And girl, how do you not know Baekhyun's high note?! You need to watch What is Love, Monster and El Dorado! That man has a vocal range like V!
Oh girl, I know about my bias wrecker's vocals! haha (I've made two best vocals videos for EXO)... but at @7:03 Baek says "cause tonight's gonna set you free yeah" and he goes lower and holds the "Yeah" part while a high note comes in, in the back ground. So either they are layering his vocals over himself or it's Ten or Taemin.
Some people have commented that it is Taemin but I'm not familiar enough with his voice to know for sure.
But Baek's high note @7:27 is everything!

I actually think that that first high note during Baek's "set you free" was Baek too, in the background vocals, that's why nobody even trying do it live. It's pretty similar to some of his high notes including the second one in Jopping imho. The note itself was Baek's but Taemin did another high note at that place in the song during live perf at Ellen show but it was very well noticable Tae's vocal is different from that note.
I totally agree with you on that point of view being positive with this experiment of SM. I'm Shawols. Maybe this could help out all the sm artists. (But I don't want this happen again its sad)
