    I have the genie mini ii turnarible kit and I all I want it to do is rotate continuously. Your genie 1 video shows how to do this but the app doesn’t have the continuous option for me. Is it not possible with the genie ii turntable kit? Thanks.

    hi there, i bought a 2.5mm to USB-C cable - it is unable to trigger the shutter for my Sony A7R III. Must it use a 2.5mm to micro usb ? Is there no software update that can enable the 2.5mm to USB- C since everything else now is using USB-C. And, by the way the apps i use with my Samsung S23 is Monfrotto Motion - that is the only one available to use with newer mobile phone.

    I've enjoyed using my mini 2. However I noticed the latest firmware update looks different to what is in this video. There is an extra button (little red aperture symbol) on the timelapse controls for example. Are you going to update this video to include any new features?

    Is it the case that even though my camera, Sony a7riii, has a menu setup for interval shooting it is not necessary to set the in-camera interval shooting parameters when using the Genie Mini II and the 2S cable, right?

    Also. The shutter cable that is included (once you specify the camera model). That is only used for time-lapse/panorama mode, correct? Do you still need it for video?

    • @SyrpLab
      @SyrpLab  Před 4 lety

      That is correct, the shutter link cable is only used to triggering the camera shutter during a time-lapse or panorama. For videos, you need to manually start your recording on your camera and afterwards initiate the desired movement on your Syrp device.

    Both of the mini IIs I got in my pan tilt kit refuse firmware update and stop at module 20 every time. Been through all suggested troubleshooting with no success, hopefully I hear back from syrp support soon. Shouldn’t be this hard to update a device like this

    • @SyrpLab
      @SyrpLab  Před 4 lety

      Dan O'Bruba hope support has got in touch by now. Rest assured we prety much always can update a device. Suggest as first step try and update one at a time and make sure have your other genie mini device off. Also turn off any other wifi or Bluetooth devices or even better try from a different location to avoid interference. Lastly if you have access to another device like android or iOS try a update from there instead .
