Kyle Kuzma is a high character dude. Definitely felt like the media portrayed him differently. Thank you Draymond
High Character Dude
Seriously you guys come out with some ridiculous shit
The way Kuzma speaks reminds me a lot of Kobe. He is very thoughtful.
Hearing him speak on this, like his mindset on winning, pushing ego aside is huge. Then was the third leading scorer, L.A should have kept him. I wish him the best, all of these interviews have been insightful. Love it
A summer ago everyone was clowning him
@@controversialmann5345 Not everyone.
a summer ago everybody was clowning him and caruso, everybody start to love these players once they no longer lakers..
@@jayjames4629 Neither one of y'all know ow everyone to make such a broad statement. There were people who weren't clowning them, it just happens they were in the minority. Also after hearing him speak on it, it's possible for people to change their views or at the very least understand his viewpoint. Some of y'all are so one dimensional in your thought process and LOVE negativity far too much.
Agreed.
Sick interview!! Love hearing Kuz open up like this. You don’t get this kind of wisdom or open connection through the tv cameras. He’s so much more professional and mature than they show him to be.
Most definitely 👍🏽
No he’s more professional and mature than YOU saw him to be
@@daddyallen4889 you’re a fool. Good luck with your own opinion ✌🏽
@@daddyallen4889 when you’re fed everything through the lens of the media, perceptions are interpreted differently to everyone. Just because YOU seen something doesn’t mean everyone did, remember that
46:10 man once Kuz knew his role with LA the year after the chip Kuz was crashing the boards like crazy. He really gave LA his all
This is the best take interview you had. The media has so much power since they made me think Kuzma is non serious about his profession but listening to him and how mature he is with his attitude and working on his craft was amazing. His story about the bus waiting for hours as a kid made me cry. Lakers never should trade him he was a huge part for the team success
I know man smh
I love the 1-1 casual interviews being done. Draymond is a good interviewer because he loves the game. Loved Kyle Kuzma’s visit. He is interesting and I would not have ever known that. Thanks Dray!
It’s not about meeting your expectations but it’s about controlling what you can control. Wise words from Kuz!
Shout out to Kyle for representing our home city so well in the league. I'm from Flint also and it's refreshing to see a positive story come from our area given everything the city has been through especially in the last 10 years. Good for you kiddo keep up the great work and continue making Flint proud
I'm from Saginaw like Dray and it's so sweet to see two successful men from our cities. I hope to see more success stories from both cities.
Kuz was a great guest to have on, as a laker fan we watch him come in dominate the summer league
That was the greatest summer league team ever to me. Caruso, Kuz, Lonzo, Ingram, Thomas Bryant, Zubac and I may forget someone. Insane
That’s the “Kobe that’s the irrational confidence king btw.” You’re killing it Dre. You’re making something within the basketball world, the culture, for your peers and fans alike. Idk what that is 10 yrs down the road. Probably no one yet. But something is going on here. We appreciate you bro 💯
Gained alot of respect for Kuz after this, back-to-back great podcasts. Super insightful and love the genuine conversations! Keep it up Dray
Salute Draymond! This interview with Kyle was so educational, informative and encouraging. You guys definitely are humanizing athletes. Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge. The younger and upcoming athletes should pay attention and gain knowledge from you and Kyle’s wisdom. Salute!
facts
One of the best basketball interviews I’ve ever seen, wasn’t expecting the in depth fashion talk but Kuz knows his stuff
Huh?
u's a bot
@@robbynickgallardo6637 def not a bot bro lol
Man, Kuz has really grown as a player and as a person, as if he was an issue to begin with.
Now to see him, Beal, and KP as Washington’s core looks promising.
Promising… 12th in the east
Just want to let everyone know who is going through a hard time the light is at the end of tunnel. I had dealt with a 6 month depression. Coming out of that I can say that keeping a positive mindset , energy and prayers will keep you right. Stay blessed and God and I love you🧡🧡
🙏🏾
Thanks for saying it Kyle, you gotta keep the main thing the main thing. I learn a lot from these podcasts. Thanks DG

I wish kuz the best! I hope he can reach all star level this season
We Love ya Kuz continued success to both of you young Kings !
Hearing kuz is really insightful. Smart man
There is going to be a day in the NBA where some player goes "I just dropped 30 on your head" and the response will be "yeah, but my pod gets five times more listens."
If I was in the nba I'd rather drop 30 than have a podcast that maybe 1 million ppl know abt
@@caleb.cannon ok
Wouls u rather beat someone up or talk about it.. so no
Draymond took over the Media this player to player interview is too 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dray stumbles in the intro an doesnt change or edit it cuz he dont give a fuck lol...unapologetically himself...protect this man.
This is your best interview, Dray. Job well done.
First time watcher. I’m definitely a subscriber now. Great energy, great vibe and real conversation.
I didn't expect him to have kuzma on there but I am a huge fan of your podcast overall Draymond.🏀😁
Why didn't you expect that? I didn't think about it but it made sense right away. They've got MI ties and Dray has been supportive since Day 1.
Draymond connected and close to a lot of players in the NBA. He a real one.
Huge Kuz fan after this interview, wishing the best for him going forward 🙌🏾
Content is top tier lately.
Draymond a real one dawg he got a forever supporter in me!!
YOU SPITTING PURE FACTS!
Stay humble guys!!
Congratulations 🎊
So interesting to see two players on different teams, currently in the NBA candidly discussing their thoughts.
Draymond Green never disappointed me every time I see him speak real facts..
Rooting for the Wizards after this interview. Great job!
Kuz is dope this made me even more of a fan!!
To any NBA player watching, go on this show.
We love seeing who you are and the new media gonna do that.
Being from Saginaw like Dray this is amazing to see Saginaw and Flint together and so successful. I hope to see more of this.

Great interview!!!
Great interview, for sure I will replay and listen again… plus on new sponsorship 💯
The way draymond leaned in for a dap after introducing kuz but tried to play it off when kuz didn't lol
Kuz made up for a few minutes later an gave em the dap 😂
i heard like 3 line and i liked Kyle straight up, didn't really know the guy so thanks Dray for the interview
good interview dray
Great Value from this Podcast “New Media” 👏🏾
To be fair to Kuzma the NBA player, he's clearly not the most talented guy out there, nor the most consistent, but he puts the effort. He tries to improve, everytime he makes a mistake he tries not to make it again, every time he hits a wall in something, he tries to add something else to his game. He could not replicate his 3pt% from his rookie season? He got a lot better on moving without the ball, and cutting behind defenders, and attacking off the dribble. He could not be a reliable 2nd option on offense in a championship team? He started play defense waay more. He could not be a great playmaker, despite trying? He works his ass off under the boards to grab that extra rebound. You have to respect the work man, good luck!
Dope conversation
i like seeing this side of kuz. very educated speaker.
This was dope
Respect guys. Kuz and Dre
Great interview. Dray is doing great! Though controversial , but that makes him unique.
Amazing art of podcasting dray!!!!!!!!!

YESSSSSIRSKIIII KUZ ! DC LEGEND
Kuzzzzzzzzzzz!!! Yeahhhhh
Loved this interview one of my favorites. The growth and maturity love to see it
Lakers should’ve kept Kuzma
Nah he started lacking with that LA lifestyle it was better he left for his growth.
Kuz is a real one
Kyle kuzma is real humble ✅💕
It’s a sagnasty and flint stone interview 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Funny thing to me is when I watch old hoops games now, I can see how the "new" things that worked back in the prior era become the norm in the next. Its really more of evolution than comparison that I see. And they are right about comparing eras. Its like having a modern Rolls Royce in a time of dirt roads, might be a nice car now, but just won't be useful back then - modern point guards would get called for palming all day and night back then. To me most of Jordan's greatness was center around will and leadership (in his own way of leading) - he was a skilled basketball player for sure, but what set him apart from others is will. Seeing some of the stories of and actual play from the past greats, often times its the will that really wins the day. And when I was a coach, my favorite guys were the least skilled ones that bust their... to make it happen - they always make the talented ones work harder and the team better. And the compelling thing about basketball is with only 5 guys in play and loosely defined positions, the contest of wills between players really is the difference between a win or a loss and you get 8 seeds knocking off 1's or a second unit taking down opposing starters...
I think that's one thing I've always loved about basketball. I felt that moreso than any other sport, you could translate raw willpower and effort into production. Rebounds, loose balls, disciplined defending, steals, hard screens. Willpower is sufficient to get some of these. Yet the game also has deeply skillful aspects as well like shooting, handles, passing, scoring.
Kyle is a great interviewee
KUUUUZZZ!!!!
Peace Love Your Show.
Damn I forgot I wanted a Kyle Kuzma interview. That man is super knowledgeable on the game
Kuz looking big! That chef is going crazy
Kuz!! as a Lakers fan I'm still rooting for him
My boy Kuz
Keep up great work Draymond. ❤️ ur brilliant game but would hate playing against u😄
I got to say this, i wasn't really happy when the Lakers wanted to trade Hart, Clarkson, Ingram and Zo for AD because this team was going to be great. But when they did, i wasn't cool with that because they traded Ingram and not Kuz. But it was for the best and I've definitely enjoyed watching you play and win in this Bubble.
It was a great interview and Kuz is definitely someone to watch and listen to because he has a great mindset.
LOL...yeah, fuck...give the Lakers Ingram right now? Poor man KD(Not saying he can get to be a wealthy man's KD, but that's a LOOOONG climb yet).
But his is what LeBron does. You get that chip...but you sacrifice some of the future. And it's usually cool because a Chip is forever, but tell me if you could roll out Ball/DeAndre Hunter/Bron/Ingram/Wagner(I guess...he was technically part of it). You could stick Kuzma at the 5 or put Harrell in there and go small, but still a young, talented lineup and a deeper team.
Then you've got Hart/Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell...I don't even know who else. THT you'd still get, you'd get your pick of vets most likely who were on the minimums.
But that looks like a REAL nice team. I also think Hunter is a nice young player who would flourish with 'Bron.
Why do ppl keep thinking that Clarkson was part of the package... Lol. He wasn't even on the Lakers the year before the trade. We traded him to Cleveland the year before LeBron even came to play for us. Actually I'm pretty sure they played together in the playoffs for the Cavs in 2018 lmfao
He avg 8 and 3 but i guess
@@mommawemad3it975 Who are you talking about ? Kuz or Clarkson ?
NOLA would have never done the deal if BI wasnt included, he was ALWAYS the main piece. The discussion was always between Lonzo and Kuz
He reminds me of Nick young at his peak, besides outside drama he can still ball real nice and just staying true and low key
Crazy, draymond in college shot a lot of jump shots
Dray fire 🔥
Miss Kuz in LA!
Draymond is great 👍🏽
