Brilliant video mate, I’ve woken up to some birds like that back in my youth haha. Always hear sounds out in the woods at night, I’ll never forget the first time I heard a fox scream in the dead of night, on a solo hammock camp. Had to throw my pants in the bin when I got home the next morning.

Good vid as always mate...don't want to sound like the pub bore but that wood(we won't say it's name)is dropping to bits dead fall/widow makers whatever you wanna call them I stopped camping in there a few years back plus where that ridge just behind you flattens out there's an active wiccan shrine in a clearing up there...had a decent conversation with a white dragon moon witch down cornwall this year about it and what she said will chill you to the bone...I'm a local lad happy camper and all that so no b.s. mate...anyhow keep up the good work pal atb👍😀
You do love a bit of Pendle Hill! I’m embarrassed to say it, despite being from Burnley and not living all that far away it’s not somewhere I’ve been much in the last decade. Every time one of your videos comes up it peaks my interest then I undoubtedly head to the Lakes
I haven’t learned much about witches. But I’ve learned that it’s not unusual for men in Pendle to be bald, have beards and drink beer. Like many places.
I honestly thought it would be Matt coming out to get you, because you and Matt always did some little scare skit on Octobercamp, but didn't this year. Even tho I miss the little skit you two did, this was brilliant. It's got me wanting to go camp somewhere spooky! Happy Halloween. 💙

Very atmospheric camp, especially with the music and sound effects and good to see Walshy making an appearance in the woods and worryingly in your bed! It's a fantastic area though, steeped in history and bags of atmosphere - as for the pub - love it! Can't beat a post work pint!
