A man so principled, that he turned down a near-guaranteed $1 million dollar prize - I mean, who even does that?! Honestly, my admiration for him knows no bounds...

Honestly speaking, it pained me to watch him in this competition as the producers of the show forced him to shorten his performance to 2 minute and also said they wanted more "singing" and less "yelling" (ikr the audacity!). As we all know how Dimash often took us on journey by drawing us in closer in the beginning and gradually building the crescendo and ultimately reached the climax, all through the vehicle being his technicality and stage mastery. But they wanted to cut it short and make it just a simple showcase of his techniques and what he can do, which is something he personally avoids. They even lied to him since before the he agreed to join the show he explicitly asked if there would be children competing and they said no. After realizing the truth, he decided to withdraw, all with grace and dignity. I saw this competition as an attempt from CBS to introduce him to the US audience and somehow commercialize on his talent, but the attempt failed miserably. Like someone else said, it's not that the he is not ready for the USA, USA is not ready for someone like Dimash. You also did make some comments in your videos how the US mainstream entertainment gives into much much to gimmicks and easy appeal, instead of giving the credits to these true artists like Dimash who so well deserved the recognition. It's a sad reality!
I would freak out too. It's the first time I'm a real dedicated fan to someone. He's amazing, insane, unmatched, hardworking, and so much more. A beautiful person, he's Dimash. Glad to be alive at the same time. May God bless him.

One thing I've always loved is that at the end of a performance, Dimash will thank the orchestra or instrumentalists, in their own language if he possibly can. He is gracious and sweet to EVERYONE, not just his fans.
Totally agree with you, he's not only the best vocalist in the world but also an amazing and inspiring human being. He says he just a regular guy, I really wish there would be more "regular guys" like him in the world. He always promotes unity and peace and gives example of good values.

I'm honestly shocked that he's not bigger here in the US! He's literally a one of a kind, once in a lifetime singer, performer, and artist! He's insanely good at what he does and it's always insanely impressive!! Also, where can we buy that tank top because I'm absolutely loving it!!!
He sings lots of non-English songs. About 75-80% of the US population dont speak a language other than English. Despite his talent and status, his records would not sell well in the US.
@@PlutozReal Yeah, you're both right. I mean, I wish people were more appreciative of music despite the language it's being sung in, but it is what it is. He is incredibly famous around the world, though, and that definitely counts for something!
I think it will happen - his fandom is organic. People that listen to him, usually become so loyal and fanatical (in a good way). He gains them one at a time. But even if it doesn't grow into superstar status, people will recognize it, eventually. His voice, his demeanor, stage presence. It's something for the ages.

It was The World's Best competition. A US singing competition where they bring in people from around the world to compete. When they asked him to be on the show he specified he didnt want to compete against kids. They either told him there wouldn't be any kids competing or they'd be in their own seperate age bracket. Then during the show he ran into Daneliya Tuleshova backstage who is also from Kazakhstan and he knows personally. Then he found out they were competing against each other. He didnt think it was fair for adults to compete against kids. And he was unhappy the show lied to him to get him there. So he dropped out.
Tara recognizes that Dimash is not only humble, but is "anointed talented,...it's spiritual at this point." The name KUDAIBERGEN actually translates to "A Gift From God". Dana Nurzhigit, a Kazakh celebrity and reporter, interviews Dimash in 2019. But,...more importantly and more recently, Dana just recently got interviewed by 'Alga Peterburg' (A Russian owned Dimash fan club/channel), where she becomes emotional describing how Dimash is more than a 'once in a generational type singer',...but even Kazakh people believe he was sent from God. Everything lined up like stars lining up,.,,it is an interview worth watching (English subs) because you can feel anguish, love and despair that the Kazakh people have and are wearing on their sleeves everyday.

Might not seem like much to you, but I found Dimash because of you. I had followed Brian Justin Crumb to CZcams. I then saw that you had done a "Reaction Video" of him. After that was over there was a link where you did a reaction video to this guy called Dimash singing SOS. The rest shall we say is history. I have tried my best to get his name and his voice out there. Everyone should subject themselves to the best voice in the world. So "Thank You, Tara Simon," Because of you I have been blessed by Dimash's voice and songs. I have often said I will go into debt to see him perform live when he comes to the United States again. Tara, thank you for sharing this with us! I had been following Dimash on youtube for a while before discovering vocal coach reactions. You were the first professional vocal coach I saw analyze Dimash's SOS two years ago. I instantly became almost as addicted to watching professional analyses of Dimash's vocals as I already was to hearing his voice. I've learned so much about singing by watching these analyses, but you will always be my first and favorite vocal coach. You were the first professional vocal coach I saw analyze Dimash's SOS two years ago. I instantly became almost as addicted to watching professional analyses of Dimash's vocals as I already was to hearing his voice.
