I understand that he got life with no possibility of parole, as he deserved ..but...why wasnt he convicted of R*pe as well, for his disgusting violation of this poor woman??
I think it then becomes desecration of a corpse, which is normally added on top of the murder, so basically life without parole anyway.
There is a specific crime for necrophila and messing with a dead body. He most likely pled out so that was what the d.a gave him. I am only 3/4th through the video so idk if it go's over sentencing.

@@mfi-cf7sp You are free to look up these statistics for yourself, if you don't believe me, but violent crime peaked in 1991. Ever since then, violent crime rates have gone down. There have been fluctuations throughout that time, but overall, violent crime rates have gone down.
That's because the charges are pleaded down and don't forget crime reform. Violent crime is definitely not down.

An innocent 64 year old woman jogging with no idea that a psycho is going to purposely hit her with his car so he can have sex with her dead body. I've never heard of anything like this before and hopefully never will again. How demented his mind is, burying the body on Purgatory road, that's rich. It makes this case even more sinister but, I don't believe the "deer" story. I think he planned & tried to cover his tracks in advance. Deliberately damaged his truck & got his dad to report it which would appease his parents when cops come asking questions later when he's committed the evil act he was planning. It would also be an excuse to those cops if they're asking about an event on one date but he can prove his truck was damaged before then. His dad would be a witness but he was so cunning he made it more official by getting his dad to phone insurance company. Aye I think this was part of his premeditated plan. Thank goodness he isn't as smart as he is devious or he'd maybe have gotten away with this & gone on to hurt more people. Definitely someone I'd label as evil

I will NEVER understand the whole " I hit someone so I put them in my vehicle because I was scared " defense. My friend hit someone with his car and immediately called 911. They had an investigation because the guy he hit passed away. But he did not get in trouble, it was an accident. And they helped him find some therapy to help him cope with the fact he killed someone. Even when they were investigating they kept assuring him he did the right thing and that every thing was going to be OK. Scary yes but a lot less scary than trying to hide it and live with himself

Note-This woman may have been alive after this thing hit her with his truck. Only his word that she was dead. Victim was wearing a very bright yellow rain jacket jogging, although thing said all of a sudden she was in front of his truck.

They’re just running tactics, man. If this is the first investigation you’ve ever seen, the buddies tactic is definitely one of the most common ones. Getting the suspect comfortable enough to let their guard down and misspeak makes it easier to rip their stories apart.

Not that it really mattered in the end, but the cops both had to turn their heads to face him while he could view them both simultaneously, which isn't ideal in an interrogation.
Stand down detective, I think they got him. Lol, all joking aside, I've seen detectives say they sometimes do the seating based on the suspect & their MO. Maybe they wanted him to feel important or like he had some "power" to get him to open up.
I was raised to never judge people by their looks, and I really do feel guilty sometimes when I see a picture of someone and think that there's something off about them, with that being said he has that look like there's something wrong with him.

the answers to most of the questions they're asking. They just want to see how honest you'll be.

This guy is creepy AF and so nonchalant talking about accidentally running her over and putting her body in his truck. He had to work his way up to this. It’s fascinating to watch these kind of interrogations. We all know the police will question him on the tiniest of details. we will ask him about what time everything he did around the time of hitting the woman. I often wonder what these detectives were like as little boys. Did they drive their mom’s crazy by asking 1 million questions about everything??

Tbh he didn't have to say anything, him attempting to prove his innocence in the interrogation room is what buried him deeper. Even though the evidence was overwhelming if they didn't have anything that interrogation would've been key to get him off the street.
However my advice even if you're innocence is to always talk to your lawyer and not to talk. If you wanna give a statement allow your lawyer to do it or be there when you give it so they don't twist your words and try to blame you.
The scary thing is he's not psychotic. Probable that he's a psychopath but no sign of Psychosis. Terrifying isn't it, that an individual could do such hellish atrocities without having some serious mental health issues. 😳
