Just now seeing this. After a terrible bout of FHL tendonitis, I"m trying stay over my big toe and also I"m just starting pointe work at age 51. Great video.

Thank you so much for this video! My dance instructor recently noticed that I'm rolling my right foot to the outside. I have been working to make sure that I am rolling up between my big and second toes on that side and my releve is lower on that foot because it is weak. I'm hoping these exercises will help me gain strength so I can get to full and correct releve again :-)

No, they are galvanized steel pipe from places like Hope Depot or Lowes. I find PVC too light weight for me personally. These are much heavier, but still affordable.

If i use a small medicine ball instead of a tennis ball would it strengthen my feet more?
+Emily Tompkins It can certainly be used. I'm not entirely sure if one would be more beneficial than the other.
My feet are so asymmetrical.

Sadly, I think I have my mom's weak ankles rather than my dad's strong ankles. ;-;
