You go to these concerts knowing that even if the original singer is still singing that they don't sound quite the same as when they were in their prime and if you know that going in you still have a great time and Prism was an absolute blast. Once Ron pass away you knew that the band would never be the same as Ron had such a unique and amazing voice but Al is definitely a great showman. I have some vids of Honeymoon Suite, Harlequin and the Headpins that I absolutely love too.

It's now been 9 years since this video was posted and Prism is still touring. I'm going to be checking them out tonight onstage with Harlequin at Club Regent in Winnipeg. I know it's not the original members, or the original singer and frankly i don't care. Not too many bands sound like their studio albums that were released 40+years earlier. I'm glad to see they are still going at it, the same goes with Harlequin

Good god that chorus and gang vocal. People should be losing their minds during this!! SO good. And i'm not even Canadian! Why they never made it in the US is what i question.

Nice to see that the band is still together. I first saw them in a concert in Calgary 39 years ago.

They sound great live. Many digital cameras don't capture live music well. I recorded Take me to the Kaptin at a concert with two cameras at the same time. The vocal sounded great on one recording and terrible on the other.

When Guns n Roses cut their first album, I was living in Southern California. Axil Rose was being interviewed on KMET in early 1984, and the DJ was taking calls from listeners. A guy called in and asked Axil Rose if he had ever heard of Ron Tabak. Ol' Axil didn't like that call and immediately said, "Next caller!" Axil was a direct rip off wannabe of Ron Tabak. Just listen to some of the early G&R recordings.

Sounds great. Not the original band (who I ‘discovered’ on a trip to Bowen Island, BC in the early 80s) but who cares? Sounds awesome. Nice job.

Won`t say anything bad, I will however be seeing a closer to original Prism on October 1st 2022 with Al Harlow, Rocket Norton, John Hall and D`arcy Deutch. Whole bunch of other Vancouver Bands all for Cancer research. Check it out at Fuck Cancer concert.

They need to rename the band, this lineup is nothing more than a tribute act. Only the bass player from the lineup they had at the height of their popularity

It's just really said that Ron died the day after Christmas 1984, after being stuck by a car on his bike Christmas day riding to Al's house. Prism could have accomplished so much more as a band. No other singer like Ron. It was a really fun concert though.

Sandy Baldwin I understand Tabak and the rest of the original band were discussing a reunion at the time of his untimely death. Wear your bike helmets people

They have no right to even use the name, bad cover group at best with only Al Harlow, even setting foot on stage with real Prism. W

My reaction as well. Other problem I have is while Hawlow was in the band, he had very little input into the bands biggest hits and it wasnt till 93 he took over the band. Long after the prime members had left

Very difficult to say anything constructive on these sites because people relive their youth through this. So here it goes. Need a new singer who can hit the notes, but musically sound great.

Harlow has no business being close to a microphone. Painful to hear. He didn't join till their 3rd album and he's trotting this outfit out on the road?

This is a crap cover version. Sad if this all that's left of Prism! The audience does a better job with the vocals than the lead does.
