You did well, I've cut mine for donkeys years with scissors and clippers, pixie cuts, but, now in process of growing it back in to a Bob, thank goodness for Alice Bands to keep it back in the meantime, I'm half way there! ❤️

Love your hair and method of cutting! I tried the six ponytails this time and it didn’t work any better than the two ponytail… it turned out with a super blunt cut across the back. Fortunately, I didn’t cut it super short so I’m going to try your method tomorrow! Thanks for sharing❣️

Great job, thanks for sharing that. What type of straigtner works for curling, does it have to have a certain design? I always using a curling iron and have never tried it with my straightner.

The Conair Infinity Pro ( available at Walmart) it has a rounded edge that helps to create great curls.
Just wondering how long the curls last using the curling iron or is it hard on the hair? I’ve been cutting my own hair in a similar way since COVID lockdowns. I’ve never gone back to the hairdresser. My hair is baby fine I use large Velcro rollers sometimes to try and get some volume.

If I pre - spray my hair with hairspray before I curl they last pretty much all day.

i wish my hair was thinner so that i could cut it myself. I can cut all the families except my own, my hair is so thick and now as ive been ill its alost down to my waist, i think im afraid to start cuttig it in case i make a rght mess of it, i have trimmed the ends but thats it. I normally have it cut the way you have jst done yours, but it grows way too fast!!!
This is not a layered bob. This is what I call the pup tent cut. Heavy at the bottom, triangular.
