I mentioned on another video I would show you how to taper a bob.
Even if you are not cutting your own hair, I guess this still gives you an idea as to the different types of bobs. The bob is one of the most popular haircuts. It never really goes out of style and there are so many variations that you can find one that works for you.
* The line establishes the length so it then can be followed for the remainder of the cut as a guide

I don't know how to thank you. I don't have enough words! I have been cutting my hair since the beginning of the pandemics, and I didn't know how to add this curvy effect . I cut my hair in a bob style, and it is short. I was a little scared and took me one week to finally go for it! I had to prepare myself psychologically 😂first. But now my hair is the way i always wanted! ❤ why I didn't go to a hairdresser? Because there is a special empowerment feeling when I cut it myself. I can't let other people do it for me anymore. Hi, I'm also grey haired...I had cut my hair myself and by evening my hair I cut my sides shorter than the back. I saw your video about tapering a short bob cut to take the heavy parts in the back...I was watching you on how but you were cutting, I couldn't see you doing it because you were facing your mirror. In the end you looked beautiful. I would have liked how you did the crown of your head.
I keep telling my various hairdressers that I don’t want to look of a Sphinx on the bottom but none have ever done this which I think is exactly what I need done to take the bulk and width out of that area. Now I can explain it to them.
I like my hairdresser because she doesn't hassle me about dying my hair, or having a manicure or pedicure but she leaves a square cut on the side so I 'try' to do what Tanya is doing that is 'leleving' square edges. Good video for me to try.

I just used your Technique on my long hair, I cut off about 4 in. But I haven't cut my hair for at least 2 years so I was intimidated. But I like it except how do you layer the back?
