- I got cross progression earlier this week and I ran into some issues on how I would be able to play on my account on other platforms. I go over some basics on what to expect and how to end up playing Apex Legends on the other platforms like Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5 and PC. Let me know if you have any questions.

My Ea was linked to xbox and playstation before but not my steam, i unlinked my steam account from another EA account and linked to this old EA one, will i get crossprog ?

Play smarter , we did have Fortnite cross progression before and it's have the same thing you need the same email , so what i did i log in with the same email for long time , so it's your fault if you didn't notice that

It’s random and they give it out on waves so don’t expect everyday lol they say a specific date that they will release it

I started on PS4 and played a little on Switch before putting the majority of my playtime on Xbox. I’m honestly not sure if I used the same email address as I did for my Xbox account but I’m not stressing too much. I was a launch day Season 0 player and I still haven’t gotten anything regarding cross progression to popup. If it doesn’t I think that I only had a few skins for characters and weapons that I would like to have access to on my main Xbox account but at the end of the day not having them will not diminish my playing experience.

It’s not that big of a deal because if you cancel out your consul account and unlink your consul account, that means that you’ll lose all your progress from the EAA account just to unlink it

aren't your ranked badges suppose to be locked to the platform you got it on? do you still have the ranked badges on both your platform? like do you see it appear in both pc and console still or is it really locked

I legit quit playing apex when I switched to pc it was such a bummer not being able to have my main accounts skins I always said I’d start playing once they bring cross progression and 14 seasons later it’s here and I’m back waiting for my pc account to merge

So from what i understood from your video you had to wait for the cross progression pop up on your main account which was Xbox? So you got the notification on your Xbox and then logged in on pc? I’m in same exact situation main account on Xbox and now playing under new account on pc

i think they are doing it weeky, thats what i can tell so far.so im hoping next week ill have all accounts merged.

Easy solution at 2:07 , maybe just contact support? Also keep in mind that console exclusive skins (free bundles and stuff like that) will never merge, since thats why they exclusives.
Yeah the thing is I was talking with multiple people who reached out to support and they had no solution. But maybe they do now, not sure

You say that for each platform you put another email address, are you talking about the play/xbox accounts themselves or the EA account?
Do we have to get the cross progression on both platforms for it to work?
Got the “cross progression is here” in the apex news 2 times since the s19 release… other than that.. “cross progression” has not popped up on my monitor unless i look at other people getting it on twitter :(

Unfortunately exclusive skins don’t transfer, I just checked since I had my Pathfinder exclusive skin from my Switch and when I checked on my Xbox after I had merged my accounts, it did not show up

i heard your account had to be connected to ea before cross progression was announced. you can look it up to confirm
There isnt a difference from ps5 to xbox if youre just playing apex
Regardless, if you have a profile on PlayStation or not it won’t matter. You can wait until after you get cross progression to transfer consoles and it will be fine
What happens if u have the same harloom on both accounts? I know u should get harlooms shards, but I didn't get any. Is it a bug or something, or have they not added it yet?
Is the “highest kills “ coming over ? Because on my main I have like 16 but on my extra account I got a 20 bomb, am I going to lose it ?
You can delete an account to let you login again with the main account instead of making a new psn or new xbox profile
i just got mine but it was for my alt account so i dont really care that much but just glad i got it now just waiting on my main
Any update? I linked my EA account with my Playstation account for Apex back in 2019. I thought I can transfer my progression back then. Now I change my email of my previous EA account to the email that has the same PSN email which is still linked in and somehow it doesn’t pop up everytime when I open my Apex. I hope there’s nothing wrong with my progression.
Do you know if highest level refers to the in game level? I know someone that stopped playing on ps4 before prestige system came out. Their ps4 is 500 ingame but 2800 on stat tracker. Pc is prestige 1 level 200. do you know which account will be the main?
based on what ea said i would assume it would be the pc as the main cos higher ingame account level

Do you need to loggin into your main account first after the update to enable cross progression or will it come as long as its linked to the same EA account as your main, I decided to get it on PC through steam which is already linked to my EA account and haven't gotten the cross progression pop up yet but I haven't logged into my main account on PSN since the end of last season
i have the same problem , i made a new steam account just to link it to my main EA acount but i still did not get the cross progression pop up .
so i merged my xbox account to my pc. for example i had 4k 20 with 5k kills on wraith on pc. now my xbox took over and i have no badges with 900 kills. i kept the heirloom but lost the badges. i have caustic 4k20 on pc i lost that too. and a bunch of more 4k badges. i got my 5k 4k20 heirloom path tho. but was i not supposed to keep my pc badges?
I wish it was as simple as R6s crossplay , Ubisoft allowed u to just sign in with the Ubisoft info or Xbox info. Was no where as complicated as Respawn made this to be .

I got the message on my ps5, but instead of my Xbox linking which has everything since season 1, they link my switch which has 0 play time on it, woundering if they’ll let us switch.

how do u think I fix this problem I'm having...., so basically its saying I already had a steam link causing me not be able to use my steam/play on pc I've sent and email to see if they can force my steam on there but I haven't got anything, would making a new ea acc and adding my steam and unlinking my ps4 and adding it on the new ea or would I lose all my stuff?
I have my Xbox acc (highest account) and a steam account (lowest account) linked to the same ea account… so do I wait for my steam account to say it is ready for cross projection and when I click continue then that will link my Xbox account to the steam account? When I made a new steam account and signed in with my ea ID it just linked the steam account to my EA account, it didn’t cross progress, so I’m assuming my new account isn’t ready for cross progression? I’m very lost because my Xbox account has everything and my steam account has nothing however when people invite me in apex on my Xbox account the notification also sends to my apex game on my steam account, is this really cross progression? Because I’m a rev main with the prestige skin and heirloom, 4k and 20bomb on my Xbox account and on my steam account I have nothing so am I waiting for my steam acc to get enabled for cross progression and then it’ll take my Xbox acc and send it to my steam acc?

Okay so, i got the cross progression on my steam account which originally WAS not linked to my main Apex account. it was linked to i guess an alternate one and well so before doing so and trying to learn anything on it beforehand i linked the steam account from the burner to link it onto the main, but now i have no clue if it will even link to get all my cosmetics and such

So i merged my accounts everythings there but when i try to play on my main acc my xbox it says that im logged in on another consol AFTER IV TURNED MY PS5 off and logged off the game is this just a matter of waiting a second to process because it just happend

I have an ea account for my playstation apex account (I started back in 2019 when there was no season its like level 120 something with some skins), and I have a newer pc account thats like level 60 something that doesn't really have that many skins with a different ea account. Im confused what am I supposed to do? I got the cross progression prompt on my pc account, but idk about my console one I didnt check. Am I supposed to unlink or what ? I didn't really understand what steps i'm supposed to take for cross progression / merging to work.

Rip my progress. I was in xbox using an outlook account. Whenever i do reset password, it told me my account dont exist. When i contacted support, they told me that it was disabled due to inactivity and apparently the only fix is to unlink and link it to the new account. Its a loss for me. Why did they have to make it somewhat complicated. Compare it to cod cross progression.
What if I had an Old pc account that was connected to a different ea account. I saw that cross progression was coming so I thought it Would be perfect to merge my level 110 switch account and pc. But i noticed that they didnt have the same ea account, so what i DId was I unlinked my pc account and linked it to the same as my switch. Does it count as a account made after october 26 or did i just start ”over ” a pc account? Will I get cross progression?? Help

is it enough to just link the EA account to the psn account to move to PC or do they also have to be the same email? cuz mine are different, since i changed my PSN mail becaude i lost access to the old one, but the ea account still has this lost mail.
From what ive noticed they are merging easier accounts, ones where at least one side doesnt have much or any to merge. Almost everyone my house who only had 1 account has gotten it me and my brother have a decent amount on two accounts and we have not received it..
it makes sense from an admin POV, if they lost 2 skins on a level 50 account it would be easier to retrieve those 2 skins than losing a lvl 1000 account haha never thought of it that way

I have a ps4 account with 8 heirlooms and an xbox with one on a certain ea acc. my new pc acc wasnt linked so i unlinked it and linked it to the right ea and lost all progress and everything. i had even just bought the battle pass. but hopefully i will atleast get the other accs.
Quick question, do account levels merge? lets say pc account is lv 400 nd ps4 is lv 300, would the levels merge (e.g 700) or would it just transfer badges nd skins to the higher level account?

My EA account is the same email for both But my Steam account is a different email. Is this why I haven’t gotten the cross progression? Both PS5 accounts and APEX account on PC are connected to SAME EA account. But steam profile is a different email? Does that matter?

I haven't played Apex since season 11 when I switched to PC gaming cause I never booted up my Ps4 anymore. Had the same issue as you with the cosmetics cause I didn't spend all that money to start with nothing on a new platform. Can't wait to start playing on M&K when I get Cross-prog

So I have a question my main account that everything is on is on PlayStation 5 I however I have a PC I've never played on PC until they announced cross progression when I log in on my PC I have the same name and friends list as my PlayStation will I get cross progression or since I never played on my PC will I not get it because I saw like a deadline accounts had to b made by but my ps5 account is not new Also the P C account and playstation account are the same Ea account

How do I know if it’s linked, I linked my psn and pc account same email etc and when I load up the game the only slight detail of my account being linked is my clan it shows me level 1 in the clan I created ? But I haven nothing else that I own

To my understanding they won't go away with the merge so you should be fine to hold onto them
