Christopher Lloyd was famous for playing Doc Brown in Back to the Future movies, who is basically "a man in a DeLorean :)", now he appears in Mandalorian series too. I think it's for fun and pun. Would be great if he plays an old Mandalorian (so far we never see old Mandalorian, right?), like their senior captain, very respected, who previously was a personal guard of Bo-Katan's father, and he's the one who answers "It would" in the ending scene when Mando asked if the Darksaber would be rightfully hers.
A reminder that Christopher Lloyd played Master Xehanort in KH 3 DLC.
This was basically The Holiday Special of The Mandalorian. Always great to see battle droids in live action
Grogu being so food motivated makes him very relatable. I too wish to be hand-fed snacks and given scritches!
I enjoyed this episode too, but having so many famous cameos took me out of it a little bit. It felt like an episode of Law and Order. It was pretty weird. This season has been really episodic. A lot more than the previous seasons.
I actually really enjoyed this episode from the overall wackiness to the more retro sci fi feel that reminded me of Doctor Who mixed with the original Battlestar Galactica. Felt like a VERY George Lucas Clone Wars episode that even though I enjoyed should've been an earlier episode in the season instead of the third last. People are also comparing it to Andor for some reason which I'll never understand. Comparing this to Andor is like comparing Flash Gordon to 2001: A Space Odyssey and being upset that Flash Gordon is not like A Space Odyssey in tone. I love Andor but the last thing I want is every Star Wars project to be dark and gritty in a grounded tame setting. Gave me the wacky side of the galaxy a nice mix of both.
Also it's so nice seeing Christopher Lloyd who played Doc Brown in the Back to the Future movies. We also see Jack Black which was unexpected but I do wish that Christopher Lloyd had a bigger role maybe a returning character.

Din has no fondness for battle droids. We know why from a flashback to when he was found.

I've been enjoying the story of this show, but I've disagreed with a lot of storytelling choices. I don't know that my choices would meet anyone else's preferences, but I feel this story isn't being told as it deserves to be.
