One tip is that when refrigerating the cookie dough, you roll it into a cylindrical log shape of desired diameter. Then when you are ready to bake, just take out and slice them into disks instead of rolling them by hand one by one.

The way I've seen famous amos do it is roll their dough into a log (~2cm diameter?), then pinch off small nuggets which they place directly onto a baking sheet. Kinda explains the somewhat irregular shape. Prolly easier to make portions this way to!

Hi! Tried this recipe and gosh it really REALLy smells and tastes like famous amos' cookies! I actually swapped the kind of fine sugar Qing was using in the video with soft brown sugar (aka raw cane sugar) which gives it a darker and slightly heavier taste, which actually makes the cookies taste more like the original FA ones! I also used milk chocolate instead of the regular semi-sweet ones so it's meltier (:

Instead of making the cookies smaller, she just need to put lesser cookies onto the tray.

I made twice the amount she made. I think I made a mistake too. I needed to use like an entire literal container for like huge amounts of food for all the ingredients. And now I have a huge batch of uncooked cookies, baking them will take forever oh god

The recipe is not even 1% close despite following EXACTLY. I can’t believe people actually commented that it taste/ smell like the real one? Please have some integrity. Was looking forward to the outcome sadly it disappointed me so badly that I wouldn’t ever wna try another recipe from their channel especially the “rice cooker” recipes seeing how effortless it is, I doubt it will even taste as good as how they “pretend” it to be.
