Meisha is SO RIGHT!! Everyone else (including Daniel) are completely off on this topic. Meisha hit the nail on the head!!
Itz her attitude that is suspect. Conor got major hate after Diaz loss. Conor did not cry or make excuses or start hating the world. He came back like a champ. Micheal Bisping ...the hendo K.o was brutal came back. Vitor after the Anderson K.o came back. Rousey just acted like an emotional little girl, blaming the media for what? Or was she that naive and believed she was invincible. Joanna is such better than Ronda in terms of fighting.

Thekingcox MC Ronda still had her fans. Tons of people said Conor was exposed, if he fights Nate he is gonna lose. Ronda brought more negative attention on herself by hiding and showing the trolls she was affected by the memes and hatred.
Ronda has to know her limitation for one She cannot kick..never thrown leg kick in the ufc. She is not smooth striker like holly, she bum rushed a counter striker.

I dont see McGregor as such a great fighter (yet), but he certainly took defeat very well. He was classy admitting defeat, and then cameback and won in a brutal war. Ronda is a superb fighter, but mentally she is not at McGregors level. Not close.

Adam Youdell- I don't really take anything Tate says about Rhonda for anything. She is bitter and I can't blame her. Just 10 months ago she finically wins the belt then gets totally embarrassed by Amanda then some no name girl. Tate will always live in Rousey's shadow.

every fighter who's going to be responsible for 1 million plus ppvs buys HAS to do media. this will be a profitable fight for the ufc, but I truly believe that her not taking part in the media will cost the ufc about 250,000-300,000 ppvs buys. to get those big ppvs numbers, you have to appeal to all of the casual fans and give them something to talk about.

Fans were brutal. Media was more than fair. I was a huge Ronda fan. From before her first fight with Meisha even though I have soured on her extreme "with me or against me" attitude, and she had many people make excuses for her. Still people disrespecting other champs in the meantime to build her up.

Misha Tate knows more and have a better understanding of the issues than all the others "mans specialists" together. Personally I think that you shouldn't have special treatment just because of your big name. She should have the same advantages and disadvantages as everyone else.
The year off is that, 1 whole year of little to no press and she can't do 1 fight week. Look at Conor he lost to Nate, huge media backlash for all his trash talk and belittling when he was on top of the world. For his rematch he did loads more media and took the loss like a champ should, in their stride.
Ronda has thrown her toys out the pram, she has through away all the things that got her money, fame and an acting career. Personally even if she wins it's not a proper one, because she's had an easier route to the title. No fight for the spot, no media, a year to train and away from everything. She's had it extremely easy, yes she has more eyes on her than Amanda, but Amanda has fought twice since Ronda has, she's done the promotion for all her fights and even this one. Cruz and Garbrant have done more than they have to, hindering their fight.
It's wrong to put her on a higher podium because of her fame and name. She's a fighter, all should be the same to the company. Dana said that to Conor when he missed 1 interview, not ALL media obligations.
