@colincampbell2418 dude ur absolutely wrong sir. j aurthur Conan Doyle wrote sherlock holmes in the 1900s in England. His work was published in a weekly column in newspapers. Eventually they were collected into books and stories then when Doyle died other's took up the pen for the illustrious character. But the original author is j aurthur Conan Doyle
