Track test - 3D printed SE&CR 6-wheel double horsebox

  • Testing a 3D printed 6-wheeler with one fixed axle, a floating centre axle and rocking end axle. Never tried this arrangement before but the train completed a 30 min run with no derailments.
    (Sorry about the howl on the loco burner, it's my 'to-do' list to get sorted!)

    Same arrangement as on northern finescale 6 wheelers. It works well

      Parts of it certainly are! Touch the boiler and it will burn your hand, the gas tank gets quite cold in use and thankfully the 3D printed wagon is far enough from the heat to not get damaged/warped by it. I would still be wary about leaving a 3D printed wagon in car boot or windowsill etc on a sunny day
