This is definitely one of the best episodes of the season. No violence, but it has almost everything else. A beautifully done episode

Evie, I can't tell you how much joy watching you react to viewing "The Wedding" for the first time has brought me. I first read Outlander almost 30 years ago and have literally been obsessed with this story ever since. At first I thought maybe I might be crazy but then I discovered that there was a very large community of like minded fans out there who were suffering from the same "disease". Watching new fans like you discover Outlander since the TV series launched has allowed me to experience it again. Thank you. I truly love this episode, we get to watch these two start to fall in love. They may have been forced to marry, but Jamie and Claire are truly soul mates. Loved your reactions! This was my favorite episode in the series. I'm also in my mid 60's. In a way, her marriage to Frank was sort of pre-arranged too. Frank just happened to walk past the office of the register and it was now or never.
As a side note, I had my hair exactly like yours for my high school yearbook in 1973.
I agree it's so tender and beautiful to watch but it makes one feel like one is intruding on their privacy with both characters being so adorable.

I love this episode and how it starts at the wedding and then we follow how it was made from the priest to the dress to the wedding ring. Alliance is so meaningful to me was made by Jamei's house key. That's the importance that Claire already has for him. Jamie the whole episode is so cute, kind and caring for Claire. Claire after spending hours getting to know Jamie and finally bonding emotionally with him, she can hand him all the blame that is being presented by the former. But something was already strong between Claire and Jamie was already visible. I think their first time is visual! I've gotten used to it because it's just the beginning. Their hots are of this level for more. Claire's guilt won't last long and she only has sex with Jamie because she wants to and the feeling is strong and true she will be surprised by his strength.
Yes, Ms. Graham told Claire that she would go on a journey while staying put, and she would have two marriages.
As for Dougal, if he could have married her himself, he would have. But he would never turn Claire over to the English, because he still thinks she is a spy.

Diana Gaboldon, the author of the book, said that Sam, the Jamie actor, had the best butt she'd ever seen. Made him blush pretty heavily. 😻That's alright, there are likely more than a million fans out there who think the same!
When it comes to Outlander you're in good company with all the other Jamie perverts. I'll admit to seeing this episode at least 50 times. But don't worry that you'll get tired of it, there's more to come. 🙈🙉🙊

when you reach the last two episodes of season one you are going to need therapy. those episodes literally broke me out of all the seasons and i’m up to season 6

Tenho uma dúvida que me perturba muitoo e gostaria de compartilhar com vocês para saber de pensam assim também.
Bom, vi que ninguém está falando sobre,mas perceberam umas supostas trocas de olhares de dungal com clair ? E nesse episódio em específico depois da segunda foda de clair e james, o momento em que ela desce a escada para beber algo e dungal aparece em cena, esse momento ai se percebe o desejo em que ele tinha por ela e essa parte a serie demonstra ela ter im interesse porém reprimido pelo dungall pelo fato de ja estar gostando de james,e por fim ela diz que é esposa de james, e ele joga o copo ou sei la o que como sinal de raiva e demostra que ficou amargamente puto com isso, tanto que dar um soco no queixo do rapaz em que logo em seguida aparece em ce a ( o soco não pareceu ser pelo desrespeito nas palavras do rapaz) então pra mim prova isso.

In case no one else gives you the warning, the last couple episodes of season 1 are very graphic and intense. My sister luckily saw first and I was able to skip most of it, as certain subjects are triggering for me. So here is your trigger warning, with love :) Its my absolute favorite show, I just will not watch most of the content in those eps and the team of outlander even said they wouldn't do it again if they had a choice. To this day I haven't seen anything as awful in a show. Luckily theres no repeat of those "creative choices" in the rest of the series.
