after using many phone brands from apple, samsung, xiaomi, vivo, huawei and oneplus. I realized that the simpler the interface, the smoother and more efficient it is. so I always customize the interface for the phone as simple as possible

Hey Sam you can use FNG for gestures with third party launchers. Just create a swipe up gesture to launch the specific launcher and you’ll be good to go.
I've been using Xiaomi MIUI for a few years and I switched to Moto just yesterday and I gotta say I sort of miss MIUI 😂 Of course out of the box it can be a bit annoying but the more you personalise it and take out all the draw backs it has got, like bloatwares and sorts. It really shines. But yeah, its not for everyone.

Lemme school you a bit about customizing Miui Sammy. You don't need any of that stuff. All you need is Smart Launcher 6 and Setedit. Setedit only needs one adb command (it's easy as pie), you then tap on global system, scroll down to FORCE_FSG_NAVBAR, and set the value to 1. And that's it, You don't need any of the needlessly complicated stuff you did in this video. I then use Full Screen Gestures which gives you 10 Gestures on the bottom and sides of the screen. I've been using these 3 apps for years now and they work like a bomb😉
actually, you can USE 3RD PARTY LAUNCHERS. but you have to TURN ON THE 3 BUTTON NAVIGATION FIRST. after that, HEAD ON TO SETTINGS THEN APPS, FIND THE "SYSTEM LAUNCHER" APP AND THEN "CLEAR DEFAULTS". when you press the HOME BUTTON, installed 3rd part launchers will APPEAR and choose one of them as your DEFAULT HOME APP.
Is there any status bar customization app which has search panel in the status bar to quickly launch any apps it would be great can you contact developers to bring this feature in status bar like miui app developer should include search bar in status bar itself
I installed nova launcher on my mi9t pro after 6 months of use since i got fed up of the ugly poco launcher , i uninstalled it using ADB and then i saw that gestures work with nova launcher !
@@yeswanthreddy3079 well k20 pro doesn't receive any updates anymore even when it did nothing affected it. There's a beebom guide on their site on how to uninstall apps using ADB refer that. And the app u need to uninstall is Poco launcher. Follow all the steps in order and it takes only 2-5mins
I have one problem with the darkinator app and that is that the wallpaper doesn't apply to the lockscreen for some reason even though i have selected both screens when applying the wallpaper. Please help with this Edit: I rebooted my phone and it got applyed but I don't know if I'll have to reboot it every time I want to change wallpapers.

Since I came from realme, i did purchase nova prime only because it can hide the status bar. I definitely love the look of it hidden, and also because I noticed that there's an amoled burn-in visible on the status bar area on my previous phone, so I definitely want to prevent that. I hope you can suggest some great apps, or ways of hiding the status bar. Cheers🎉

Knowing it's MIUI, you need to make the third-party apps set to auto start, else it will just kill those apps after a long time, or they won't start after a reboot.

Blank icon is no longer supported in the current Android version. Also why is my drawer turning to custom icons I don't want to affect them.

You'll need to root or use adb to hide the status bar.
